Arrived during a winter storm and the owner worked with snow removal company to clear the driveway.. house was clean and had some of the best snowy mountain views I have ever seen.. waking up in the master bedroom to snow covered trees was just stunning.. hope to return soon (four wheel drive recommended in snow otherwise it’s fine)

The place presents just like it does online… It’s by no means the Ritz, but a great value for the price. Our only complaint would be the overuse of Febreze and air fresheners… We were overwhelmed when we first open the door and had to let the place air out for a bit.

Beautiful surroundings. House needs cleaning, many stains on carpet, chairs are worn, more lights are needed. Very dark inside at night.

We were coming to visit family in the area and looking for a place to stay that was affordable… boy did we find it! The Treehouse has spectacular views! Everything was very clean and neat. Place was much more roomy than we anticipated. We will definitely be staying again! Thank you Blue Ridge Escapes!

This house is very near where our daughter lives and has a beautiful view of the mountains from the main living area and the deck! We enjoyed the private, wooded yard that made us almost forget we were in town (I even saw a hummingbird near the oak tree in front of the house!) and making and sharing a family dinner in the full kitchen. The beds and bedding were very comfy, too! We will be back!

The dwelling reminds me of a yert. Had some maintenance issues that didn’t hamper our visit but will be addressed ASAP I’m sure. Property is on a secluded hillside and wildlife were plentiful. I would stay there again.

Loved the view and location. Bed was comfortable as well. Floors were dirty not vacuumed, thick dust on some furniture, floor/carpet in Bedroom 2 was wet near window, only 1 roll of toilet tissue, no iron. That sounds like we didn’t have a good time but we did, I just think the owner needs to get back $150 of the $175 “cleaning”fee, our teenagers do a better job.

Unfortunately, we were at the tree house for a short stay…what a spectacular view. This place is quaint and comforting. It’s a round home and has plenty of room to be comfy but make you feel at home. Our next trip to the area and we will be looking at the tree house for a stay!! Thanks for sharing such a wonderful little gem.

Everything about our stay was perfect, from the location to the amenities. I feel like no detail was missed, and any questions or concerns I had were answered immediately. Very good experience. I would definitely recommend the treehouse to anybody who wants to get away for a little while. Thank you for everything, you made our week wonderful.

If you go camping this is about 2 steps above that. Driveway is ridiculously steep and covered with large rocks that shift and don't provide much to any traction even to lower parking area. House creeked like crazy with every step. AC leaked in master so made we put trash cans and bos to catch. The floor AC were loud, but did keep place cool. View was nice and you had pretty much ehat you need to eat etc. Small stove and dishwasher, but manageable. Told there was a washer and dryer in the pillon but it was behind a locked door without keys. No biggie we are used to camping and packed for a week. The stairs were UGH...how many...lol, so get your workout in. Windows in bedrooms are pretty much useless...you are looking at the slope of the woods.behind you looking like a mudslide would take you out with that almost verticle wall. Communication was great. All in all not a 5 star hotel or anything, but we got to see deer every day walk by, the location made it easy to get to other locations like Lewisburg, hikes and Gustovs Bistro was great and right down the street. We got lucky and found a Renaissance Fair going on a ways away and had fun there. If you like slightly roughing it and have a four wheel drive truck or Jeep give the tree house a try.

Two hours prior to arrival we were called by the manager and told the air conditioner was not working but we would be provided fans ( no fans were provided) It was miserable and humid all night and we were in a position where we had no alternative but to stay there. The next morning an air conditioning technician came to the house and looked at the unit and found it needed to be replaced inside and out. We spoke with the manager and told her that the windows that opened were not able to accommodate a window unit due to the steel beams in front of them that holds the house upright. The manager told us that the only way to fix the situation was to refund our stay. We have not received a refund and when I called them three weeks later they said they found AC’s and we were called and informed of this. We were never informed and after telling us we were going to be refunded, they declined to refund our money. I would not recommend this company again due to how we were unfairly treated.
