No closest, no where to hang up clothes, were there for 3 days. No iron/ironing board, no lamp on nightstand, giant fluorescent tube light was the only light. Ac/heat didn’t work. Called their full size bed, a queen, it isn’t, I measured it. Not a 5 star hotel

My husband and I were very impressed with the hotel. We loved that Wyndham renovated the school into a such a beautiful hotel. It is so special to maintain the history of the school house. The staff was very polite and helpful. We can’t wait to stay there again. We loved how high tech our room was. We especially liked that our room was previously the history class. Great hotel!!

This is supposed to be a hotel focused on the patrons that have physical implements. Many conveniences in the guest room do not work. On top of that we woke up to no power in the morning. No lights,the shades on the windows would not open because they are electric. The staff at the front desk had no information,PERIOD!

Room was nice with lots of technology. The WiFi did not work during my entire stay. The hotel was not aware I had prepaid through Expedia, so I had to show my receipt. When doing so, we realized my room rate from Expedia was $24 higher, even after applying a small amount of Key cash.

The Schoolhouse offers a unique place to stay in White Sulphur Springs. It is truly a converted school with tons of charm and modern conveniences. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is great. Very near the Greenbrier.

This property is very nice, lots of special accommodations that i have never seen before. The old school has some memorabilia from the school placed throughout. The Expedia listing said no charge for pets but the online registration and the desk person said it was $50. I picked it based on the free pet, and after speaking with the owners they did not charge me. (They were very friendly) We enjoyed the rooftop bar and would recommend the hotel to anyone.

Schizophrenic remodeling philosophy. No expense spared on materials and style yet lacking essentials. A high tech toilet with 15 buttons that flushes before you’re done in the middle of the night, waking your wife. Alexa listening to every word yet not able to actually change the drapes, lighting, or TV set. No closet to hang your clothes. No iron, no ironing board, no fridge for your leftovers or microwave to reheat them. You can hear people walking on the upper floors. A decidedly unsuccessful experiment for Wyndham.

I booked a Queen via Expedia however it was definately a Full. That was a minor detail in a wonderful hotel. Completely AMA compliant in every room. Very clean, fresh and modern. A converted middle school. The roof top bar was wonderful with a 4-6 happy hour and beautiful views. We only had bar snacks but the restaurant looked really nice.
