Exactly what I expected. Peaceful, rustic, secluded and beautiful. I only wish we saw more wildlife but that's not on the host.

Beautiful setting, loved the black stone and outside shower. Solar charger was welcomed for all our electrical needs. A fan in the cabin would have been helpful as it got very hot especially on the top bunk.

It was a lovely spot smack in the middle of nature away from roads and sounds. Great wood work both in cabin and on deck. Enjoyed to shower out doors in the green. Nice experience and felt well taken care of

Stayed here for the music festival with my adult kids. Doug was very responsive to my messages to confirm the party size and our arrival time. Clean, small cabin. The listing has the VRBO icon “kitchen,” but be sure to read the full description…. Cooking is to be done on the propane grill on the deck, or over the fire. Plenty of firewood available if that’s your jam. Location is about 12-15 minutes from the “Blue Lot” for Under the Big Sky, and about 20-25 from downtown Whitefish. Bring a headlamp to make nighttime trips to the Honeybucket easier

The cabin itself was very clean and cozy and the property was amazing. The deck is very spacious and host provides everything needed to cook out. Really enjoyed the recipe book provided and put it to use to olan our dinners. The smokeless firepit is a great touch and host provided plenty of firewood. The absence of electricity was refreshing and allowed us to soak in our surroundings and fully enjoy nature. The only reason for not giving full stars is that the porta potty did not look like it had been serviced in a long time as it was very full. Other than that, everything was perfect
