We stayed in the Presidential suite, and it was nice to have the extra space to relax. The view was so beautiful! It was around a 50 minute drive from Whitehorse, but so nice and peaceful.

We had the upstairs room which was sooo nice. The dinner was excellent, the staff friendly and interesting,the proprietors left the guests to themselves even though they lived downstairs (I think). A great spot on the Alaska Highway!

Gorgeous inn, breakfast and a 3-course dinner are available, along with a selection of wines and beer - tea and coffee are complimentary. There is a back deck that runs the length of the building along with a hot tub, pool table, bikes, and kayaks. The staff is friendly, welcoming and professional. We stayed both going to and coming back from Alaska. Highly recommend.

Tranquil lakefront setting

Gorgeous inn, breakfast and a 3-course dinner are available, along with a selection of wines and beer for purchase - tea and coffee are complimentary. There is a back deck that runs the length of the building along with a hot tub, pool table, bikes, and kayaks. The staff is friendly, welcoming and professional. We stayed both going to and coming back from Alaska. Highly recommend.

This was a great place and i will return. The dinner was excellent and i had breakfast because i was leaving early. I had that breakfast until i reached Fairbanks 12 hours later. The staff is friendly and very accomodating to me and my dog. Thanky you.

Quiet place by the lake for a calm stay

The place seemed bigger from the photos, there were very little services at the property. No room cleaning, which is not specified when booking. The location is beautiful over the lake, but after that there is not much to do or additional amenities at the property. Another set back is that the meals are fixed to set menu for all of them, which you have to prebook. I suggest they could have additional options, considering there is no place around to go for a lunch or snack in more than 1 hour drive around, and it is not always possible to adjust to just a fixed schedule, specially on vacations. Also, there is no alert of auroras viewing, which is the reason we are staying there, and you should rely on your own ability to wake up to try and see them. I would suggest a stay of 2 nights at maximum at this property.

-Distance to city is excessive. Inn should offer a shuttle. -Does not provide daily room clealing. Should have had announced by time of reservation. -Night service. Does not provide staff after dinner time, leaving guests totally alone all night. -Northern light warning.Does not provide service to indicate forewarm possibility of such event, ignoring most -if not all- guests travel to that location mostly to watch it. Hence, guests have to rely on a simple blackboard signal thus forcing them to remain attentive all night to watch it.

Great place to take the pedal off the gas for a day after several days of long drives. Beautiful peaceful location and friendly staff. The only very minor thing was a lack of larger plates and knives to prep any food in the Presidential Apartment, but that was easily worked around and then offer a 3 course meal if desired. Overall a great and well timed relaxing couple of days!
