The scenery was absolutely stunning. The private pond was beautiful. We even got to go swimming in October. We had two couples that went. I think this would be the perfect stay for a single couple, but it worked just fine with four of us as well.

We stayed at this adorable little cabin over fall break, and it was pure magic from start to finish. Tucked away in the prettiest corner of nature, surrounded by colorful trees and crisp autumn air, it was peaceful and absolutely gorgeous. The cabin was clean, decorated cutely and had all the little touches that made it feel like home. Nothing better than the nights in the hot tub looking up at the stars. Hoping to return again soon!

Beautiful Location for Family Vacation

We had a great time fishing and relaxing at this cabin. We enjoyed the privacy and peace and quiet. The location was exactly as described. Perfect family getaway.

Pleasant Stay

It was a very relaxing stay, enjoyed our romantic getaway. Although for a stocked pond we didn’t catch any fish, a lot of ticks, and the propane tank was empty for the grill.

Outstanding romantic or family get away!

Property is exactly as advertised on a very private wooded 40 acre lot that connects to the state forest. Beautiful private pond with hot tub and fire pit to enjoy during all seasons. Perfectly stocked cabin for a long weekend or couple retreat or stay with a smaller family. Everything was clean and well organized for our stay from a simple check in to easy check out.

Great Getaway

We had an awesome time! Everything is as advertised in the listing. Cute cabin and they even welcomed us with a “Happy Anniversary” sign. We had fun fishing, kayaking, hiking, sitting by the fire and enjoying the stars in the hot tub. It was a perfect place to get away and celebrate our anniversary for the weekend. We would definitely come back!

Family Glamping

We had an amazing time @ the Whitetail Cabin with our sons! The pictures don't do the property justice...gorgeous! There was plenty to do with fishing, kayaking, campfires, hiking in the woods, grilling out, soaking in the hot tub, and just sitting on the screened-in-porch taking in the sites and sounds of nature. Everything was well furnished and very clean! We made some great memories.

Stargazing and birdwatching

Cabin just as advertised. We loved the pond. The screened in porch was perfect for listening to birds morning and night. We heard a whippoorwill and an owl. Saw a beautiful orange/red black winged tanager. Walked the trail on property, maybe 45 minutes and we were really taking our time. We did not use the hot tub, opened the lid and it was clean and hot. We appreciated the bottled water since I think they are on well water out there. We will definitely book again when coming to the area. Watched the stars from the fire pit ring.

Awsome Get Away

it was my birthday the staff surprised me with happy birthday ballons. the place was amazing. we swam caught fish and enjoyed the hot tub.. i would highly recommend it. the cabin was spotless and very cozy.

Just what we were looking for.

Check in was smooth. Property had all of the basic necessities. The true attraction are the amenities outside! The gas grill, fire pit, hot tub and pond with a beach. The cabin is very private and surrounded by beautiful woods. Nothing to hear accept nature at is best. So peaceful.

The property was stunning! We enjoyed our peaceful stay. Fishing poles and gear was thoughtfully provided. We paddled around the pond in the canoe and swam in the meticulous pond. We sat in the screened in porch with the overhead fan and watched the birds. After the sun set, we star gazed as we enjoyed the hot tub. To finish out the night, we absorbed the relaxing warmth of the fire in the adirondack chairs. Excellent host!

Okay but won’t be back. Screened in back porch and fire pit area was the highlight of our stay and where my wife and I spent all our time. We were hoping to enjoy the pond but it was covered in a film and small spots of foam with no movement or signs of fish, and no adult life jackets to kayak or canoe. The main “bedroom” was on open room and the main entrance, also very bright. We could not figure out the tv, only button that seemed to work was the power button. Did not complain during our trip because didn’t want to be bother, and just enjoyed the peace and quiet.
