「Extended stay with family. 4 nights. Great location to visit parks and see various waterfalls around the Cookeville area. The room was humid and needed some air circulation when we got there. Shower had nice heat, but could use more pressure. No bath tub. Shampoo/conditioner low upon arrival. Breakfast was good 1 morning, exceptional 2 mornings, and fell completely short 1 morning. 「After waiting 16 minutes at the counter for check in, with only one person in front of me and no acknowledgment from the staff member, I was a breath away from leaving for a different hotel when I was finally called up for check in. After that unpleasant start, I will say that the room was very clean, no bad odor, the sheets were nice, and the AC worked well. The breakfast was adequate, and a clean space」

「If you are looking for a place off the beaten path, this is it. Phone service is iffy until you get to the road (1/3 mile away) but there is host supplied internet for phones, etc. Our host, Dave, is very personable-- super guy. We stayed there while doing a tour of Tennessee state parks and this B and B is conveniently located for that. 」
