"We had a wonderful time at Big Lake! The apartment was bigger than I expected and was comfortable for 6 of us. We basically had the beach area to ourselves which was great since our dog likes to bark. My 3 and 5 year old loved exploring the area, swimming and Ken provided floats and a kayak for us, which got lots of use. We enjoyed playing pool, especially on the one rainy day we had. Thanks for helping make our family vacation a special one!"

"This stunning home is beautifully designed to be the perfect getaway in the woods. It was even more beautiful than the pictures showed! The views from the floor-to-ceiling windows were truly serene. Andy was the perfect host and an excellent communicator. The lake was clean and calm, perfect for swimming, kayaking, and fishing. Inside, everything you could imagine or possibly need for an enjoyable stay was thoughtfully stocked. We love to cook, and the kitchen was a pleasure to work in, even with our party of nine. We’ve been traveling to this part of Maine for over forty years, and we’re blown away that something this nice exists in this remote part of Maine. We can’t wait to return!"

"great place to stay! need to remove all the couch pillows/only need a couple on the couch and pea stone would be good for the entrance in front of the dock also need more bright lighting in the living space where the fire place is located and air conditioning would be nice in the bedrooms, but overall it's a beautiful family lodge."

"Cabin is tucked away and is in a great location. Canoe and rowboat were great to use, fishing and setting was great. Cabin is as advertised. Appreciate the quick booking. Only downside - and I’m not complaining bc I understand the issue - the water was pretty rough w the sulfur, so be prepared. And no WiFi. But that was advertised. Overall, we loved it."

"Just a short drive from home for us, but our out of state family thoroughly enjoyed the property. The dock for boats is great, unable to back a boat trailer in so had to use the dam landing... not a big deal. all the rooms were comfy and just had a great week"

Our kids spent most days in the water and also had so much fun enjoying the campfire and making s’mores. This has become a family trip we truly cherish, and we’re very grateful to our lovely hosts for another memorable stay."

"Everything about this cottage is beautiful! I cant say one bad thing. Waking up to the beautiful lake abd falling asleep to the loons were perfect! Cornhole was a big hit as well! We will be back to get some fishing in for sure. "
