「Lovely place to stay. Our room (10) was very quiet. It was a bit warm but it is summer so to be expected. Bed was comfortable. Food was fantastic for brekkie. Lots of options and very generous. Lovely staff who were very friendly and helpful. 」

Breakfast was fabulous with a choice of cooked or a large continental menu. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was a smallish double and the shower was adequate but not a huge space. 「We arrived at 8.15pm and were worried we were too late to eat, bu we received a very warm welcome from a lovely young lady with long blonde hair, who told us that despite our lateness, we could check in before eating. 「it is in the old town center and just next to the main attractive points like cathedral. as it is a building over 500 years old, so no lift but wooden stairs only (but this is the reason i stay here). Shared toilet and bathroom is good (and you can enjoy the cathedral view when you are "relaxing"). 」

「Beautiful hotel. We were greeted by a glass of prosecco whilst we checked in. We had a standard room which was more than adequate in size and it has the softest bed and linen I think I have ever stayed in, the room had a balcony looking out over part of the golf course. We played golf and used the spa after which is intimate in size but well worth using. We ate in both restaurants and had breakfast on the terrace both mornings.
