"Stay was fantastic. I found every staff member I came across, from housekeeping to water sports, so friendly and helpful, especially the young restaurant staff who always gave great service. The food was really good too. A couple of touches that would have made the stay even better - bath robes in rooms, bottled water, and keeping the online almanac up to date (I walked down to watch the advertised outdoor movie one night but it wasn’t on). Overall I was really impressed and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. "

"Setting is fabulous, outlook fantastic, food incredible. All restaurant venues quality of food was excellent. Majority of staff were excellent, (Atama a standout). Staff need senior management in all areas as some staff were standing around talking more than serving. (Especially at the main pool area). This is not the young kids fault but lack of investment by upper management to supply and enforce high hospitality standards"

"Our stay at Palm Bay was exceptional. It is simply magical. As Canadians, we pinched ourselves to see if it was real. VERY private location. Small capacity makes it feel very VIP and exclusive. It's a very private getaway with our own 2 bedroom bungalow on the beach. Palm Bay is absolutely a vibe. I'm so glad we opted to stay there rather than the overrun hotel style resorts on some of the neighbouring islands we visiated that have none of the private paradise feel of Palm Bay. It's notably adults only which makes it quiet as there are a mix of honeymooners, couples, and older families. Being able to snorkel out our front door was awesome. The food and drinks were excellent. We're foodies and Palm Bay did not disappoint. The pool was lovely with lots of seating and shade available, and a greag place to enjoy a few beverages. Our 2 bedroom bungalow was lovely. Our only minor note for the entire stay was that the bathrooms could use a bit of a refresh, but that is small potatoes given everything else that Palm Bay has going for it. I do feel like we stumbled upon a "best kept secret" with this resort. We stayed for 5 days/4 nights, and I wish we had stayed longer. We booked an excursion from through the concierge and it was great. 10/10 recommend"

"Excellent location with direct access to the beach and only a couple minutes walk down to the marina. Staff are wonderful and accommodating. Lots of included little perks such as free on-demand transfers to/from anywhere on the island and breakfast/food can be delivered to the room at no additional charge. Main pool is heated, which was a fantastic treat being we came in low season when thble ocean was just a tad cool. All up would definitely recommend and return in a heartbeat."

"Our family of five spent five nights at Compass 10 over the Easter holidays. Communication with the Manager from booking was efficient and timely. Check in and out was super easy, we were met at the airport with our buggy on arrival. Everyone loved the buggy, we had to hire a second one as they only fit 4 and half the fun of Hammo is burning around in the buggies. The main living area or the apartment is upstairs, making the most of the views, downstairs are the bedrooms and bathrooms with a small veranda off the main room. Still has a view but not as good as upstairs. The views from the balcony are amazing, better than the photos online. The kitchen was well equipped and we made several meals using the bbq on the balcony while the (very bold) cockatoos watched us with interest. We have been to Hammo several times before and it never disappoints. We will be back!"
