The Lodge: Five blocks from Old Town and close to Intrust Arena

Our house has three bedrooms, one on the main floor and two upstairs. There are a total of 2 bathrooms. There is a full kitchen, large eating area, and a main floor family room. The entire place is decorated in a Hunting Lodge motif. You will feel comfortable in this relaxed environment.

As mentioned in the title, we are walking distance to Old Town restaurants and bars and also close to Intrust Arena. We are equally close to St. Francis and Wesley Hospitals and an easy drive to Wichita State University.

There are two other apartments on the premises that have their own access and entrance. Your space, however, is totally your own.

The host was friendly and close by . Pros , The house was in a convenient location, close to old downtown , Intrust bank , and museums. Beds were comfortable and clean , the kitchen was acceptable . Cons The house is old and musty , some outlets need replacing and won’t hold the charging cables , there were mold stains on ceiling in downstairs bedroom, the bathroom door didn’t close correctly. I gave 4 stars it was very affordable , and close to places of interest.

Cozy little place

We enjoyed our stay here. My husband, daughter, in laws, and I stayed here for our son’s graduation from Friends University. It was an older place but was kept up well. It had some nice character. We were able to do the cooking we needed to do there for the reception at a local church. There were a couple things that needed attention but an overall good stay.

Great place for family visiting college

Three adults stayed here to attend baseball games at Wichita State. Great location (though construction was happening in the neighborhood); considerate and friendly manager who lived right next door. The stay was comfortable and all was exactly as listed.

Decent stay for the price

Good communication with property owner, but missing some useful items such as extra toilet paper in the bathrooms and hand soap at the sinks. Just make sure to bring absolutely everything you need because there’s not any extra stuff like toothbrushes , conditioner etc. it was a good price for the space, but also be mindful there’s an attached apartment to the top floor that I didn’t know when I booked and made me very uneasy with my teen daughters staying with me. They didn’t cause any ruckus, but I wouldn’t have booked if I had known that.

Down Town Vrbo

VRBO was centrally located to where I needed to travel during my stay. Nice location so I didn't have to travel far to any stores or locations. Plenty of Room in the VRBO. Pretty Quiet neighborhood. There were some people across the street that made some noise at 3 in the Morning. Other than that house was accommodating for what was needed. Owner was friendly. Would recommend if someone has events planned in down town Wichita

I rented the VRBO for my Son and his kids for Thanksgiving. We had our family time including Thanksgiving dinner there since it was bigger than our place. It was a perfect place to gather to eat and visit. Gary was very accommodating. Will rent again.

Ideal location!

We moved our daughter into Friends university and this home was conveniently located minutes from the university. It was actually convenient to everything we did that weekend. Blocks away from great food and entertainment. The house was well prepared for guests and comfortable to relax in between moving her in and exploring the area. We will definitely be back for our visits with her.
