"I grew up in Salem and there’s not much of an option available. Came into town for a funeral. The Cottonwood has a history of not being the best. But I was pleasantly surprised! For the rate you are paying it was actually pretty great! Room was clean and ready at arrival. Linens were nice, bed was comfy. I chose the room with a kitchenette and it suited my needs. Breakfast provided, small but adequate. I would gladly stay here again. "

Brenda goes above and beyond to accommodate special requests. She makes it a point to communicate with you before, during and after your stay at their “Happy Place”. "Pictures don't do this home justice; it's extremely clean and very well-equipped. The upstairs could be a cabin by itself; it is so large. The river is very close and the wildlife in the area is abundant and active. We had thousands of fireflies up in the trees every night we were there. Truly magical, feels like the middle of nowhere, but only 20 minutes to town. Definitely would stay again, preferably in the cooler months when we could use the wonderful fire pit. "
