Lander Wild Iris Wall Hotels

"We checked into this hotel on Monday and immediately noticed issues. The first floor smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, the floors looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in quite some time, and the hallway walls were covered in scuff marks. Our room on the second floor was no better. The door itself was heavily marked, as if it had been kicked or damaged repeatedly. When we entered, the room smelled stale and musty. The floors in both rooms were visibly dirty, as though mud had been tracked through and never cleaned. In the bathroom, there was a dead cockroach on the floor. The condition of the bed was especially concerning. The curtain around the bed was torn and frayed, and the bedding was covered in hairs of various lengths and colors, along with other debris. One of the beds had a large yellow stain in the center that appeared to be from urine and had not been properly cleaned or replaced. I will say the front desk employee was very kind and apologetic when I raised these concerns and offered a different room. However, due to the condition of the property overall and the fact that we were traveling with a one-year-old child, I did not feel comfortable staying in another room. I later contacted the manager, who apologized and said he would work with Expedia to issue a refund. As of now, I have not received that refund. While I appreciate the polite staff, the cleanliness and condition of this hotel were unacceptable, and I would not recommend staying here. "

"Overall this is a decent place to stay. The linens were a bit rough, but clean. The staff was great to work with, the rooms were clean, and the overall atmosphere was decent. This isn't a 5 start, but you'll be treated as well as you would in a 5 star."

"Everything was so nice and clean. Was just there visiting my grandson and my husband and him loved the pool was excellent little too much chlorine but they had a great time. Safeway is right next-door had no problem getting food. The breakfast was wonderful. I would recommend people stay there."

"This was a cute little place. They have a binder setup with great information. It was quite helpful. The place was nice and clean. The shower was a tad small, and the control valve was finicky. Otherwise, it was great. "

"The place was not professionally cleaned! Closet doors/blinds/screens/entry doors broken. Sheets dirty. Refer dirty. LARGE oil stain in driveway. This home is NOT up to VBRO standards. Terribly disappointing. Should not be made available until inspected by VBRO to confirm it is up to standards. We took video to avoid being charged. Had to clean and wash sheets to be able to stay. Owner was responsive and said sorry not up to your standards, you can leave and apply for a refund if you don't want to stay there. "

"If you would like a taste of off grid living this is the place to be. The house is located a couple miles outside of Atlantic City Wyoming and is totally off grid. There is plenty of room for 3 adult couples and the master bedroom and bathroom is just amazing. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook meals and the sitting area is something to see. The hostess and her husband were very accommodating in helping us learn how an off grid house works. Antelope, Jack Rabbits, Sage Grouse and of course, Wyoming Cows just walking around the property. I could go on and on but I want to be able to book a stay next year around the same time, this place is just amazing."
