Overall it was a pretty nice hotel. It was very easy to find from the highway. The staff was pretty pleasant as well. A little older than I’m used to staying at but very well kept

An absolute must stay! 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
This was her first time there and we absolutely loved it they made us feel like family and treated us like we were at a five-star hotel! They even were kind and gracious to our service dog and gave her treats a gift and dog bowls for the room they were amazing! Nothing but great things! The room was exceptionally clean nothing at all to complain about it was perfect!

Our family loved our time at Sandbox. They are conveniently located near a liquor store, a supermarket and pharmacy all either a few steps away or on the next block. They are very dog friendly and they even gave us dog items to use for our guy. The pool was a fun area with lots of activities to spend time on and life vest for kids to use. Overall it was a very pleasant stay and we would return in the future!

My family and I had a great time!! The staff is more than polite and helpful and very accommodating. The grills are easily accessible and easy to use. There’s different games down by the pool that my family and I loved. We will be back!

We had a great stay at this hotel. The room was very clean when we checked in. Normally I do my own cleaning when I get to a hotel, but I was so pleased not to have to do it when we arrived. We were happy to bring our dog with us. They even provided a dog treat and collapsible bowl! The staff was very accommodating and nice. Anything we needed, they helped with. The outside area was great! There was a nicely sized sandbox and pool with a hot tub. There was a supply of pool toys and floats. Some were broken but I thought that was so nice of them to have them available to use. Parking was tight with a larger vehicle, but we were able to find street parking near the hotel easily.

I’ve been going to Wildwood for many years and stayed at a lot of motels there. This is my second time at this motel. The staff is very friendly and helpful so much more than any place I’ve stayed. The morning of my arrival they called me to find out when we’re arriving so they could get our room ready. We arrived hours prior to check in and only waited a few minutes for the room. I haven’t had any 5 star hotels do that! The few people who work there are constantly cleaning and straightening up that it’s very obvious they go above and beyond to keep the place tidy. The motels there that accept pets are not nearly as neat and clean as this place. Actually any place I’ve stayed there. The place is a walkable mile to the boardwalk but right next to the liquor store, Acme food store, pharmacies and McDonald’s. If you are looking for a quiet, clean and friendly place a bit away from the noise of the boardwalk area and close to stores, this is it.

Seniors should be on the first floor
The place was clean and the people were very nice and very helpful. The only problem was the stairs only one set and very steep. They had rubber over the steps that had came loose. I am a senior citizen and they put me on the second floor which met about 20 times up and down to unload and load. I would think they would need two stairs for a fire code. The place was great other than that.

People were friendly. Debbie at the front desk was the best. Room was neat but the floor was very dirty. I also got a knock on my door from housekeeping at 9 o’clock in the morning when I had a do not disturb sign on the front door. They did apologize though. Overall was a nice day.

I loved that they gave us a tray to feed my dog certainly makes you feel like your pet is welcome. The hair dryer was broken and the table had crumbs from pervious person but other then that it was perfect little getaway place.

Cannot beat for the price. Clean, close to a lot and pretty comfortable. It is spartan and tight for 4 people - smaller bathroom and 2 double beds. But the cost meant we had no stress eating out and shopping during our weekend without feeling like we plunked down a lot on the hotel. Staff also very nice! I would say the only real improvement I could see would be less smoking around us - outside, etc. but really a terrific deal - clean and we didn’t feel scammed! Thank you.

Vintage vibe, modern flair, clean and welcoming
Clean, unpretentious, great location, thoughtful amenities for my dog, generous pet policy, and wonderfully friendly staff. This motel has a vintage vibe but with all the modern touches, and is CLEAN and welcoming. Our shower had excellent water pressure, too.

VERY CLEAN. No musty shore- motel smell I’ve come to know and (not) love. Super clean, great area, lots of walkable restaurants, ACME, ice cream, Wawa, and more! GREAT staff and DOG FRIENDLY!! Brought my two large dogs, and we had a blast!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I’ve been going down the shore for 30 years, and this is the BEST motel I’ve stayed in.

Great location, close to everything, you can walk towards to Boardwalk. The community looks safe. Great place to stay with your furry family. The staff are very helpful and the services are great. Would definitely recommend this place.

When we first arrive at Sandbox hotel the staff in the front office was very helpful they explained everything that we needed to know for our stay to my surprise it was very clean very well-maintained and always someone there to help you if you had a question overall I had an excellent experience at the Sandbox hotel with my family thank you

The motel was very clean, maid service came by every morning. The pool was also cleaned every morning. The only down side was the distance to the board walk . It was about 5 blocks, not that I couldn’t use the exercise.

For pet lovers
If you’re a dog lover this is the place for you. The motel was clean but the rooms were very small enough space for one. The parking is horrible the parking spaces are so tight and you have to park between columns. I couldn’t wait for my stay to be over because I felt as if I was trapped in my room due to the amount of big dogs at the motel

Would recommend!
My boyfriend and I stayed here Monday to Wednesday of this week with our small dog. Everything was great! Clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. They give you bowls and a treat if you happen to bring your dog. Ours received a pet friendly cookie and he loved it so much! Would recommend and stay here again!
