Beautiful property & view with loads of space.
This home is lovely with plenty of living space and massive decks in addition to the large bedrooms. Our party consisted of three couples and two individuals attending the MerleFest bluegrass festival as well as enjoying time together at this lovely home. We did not have ample time to enjoy the kayaks or get on the lake itself, but the view was absolutely beautiful. All of the rooms are large and very comfortable.The hosts were very easy to contact and quickly responsive to a couple of very minor repair issues we discovered upon arriving (just a leaky kitchen faucet and a piece of hardware missing from a bedroom door). A repairman was on site within minutes and had us fixed right up. The kitchen is ample and fitted with Upscale appliances. There was plenty of room for three or four cooks as we prepared meals. We can highly recommend this home for a vacation anytime of year.

Beautiful Retreat
This was our second visit to Malone Bay and it did not disappoint. It is a beautiful well appointed house with a lot of space for two families to enjoy time together. We love the kayaks and being able to get out on the lake.

Lovely property, very quiet and secluded. A. very restful stay. There was no remote for the LG tv on the main level. Also, the dvd player was not hooked up and I could find no cables to connect the device.

Beautiful home! We enjoyed the lake greatly. The kayaks were a big hit and the dock being on a little cove was wonderful as we didn’t need to worry about any boat traffic. It was just what we all needed!

Beautiful, spacious home that was perfect for our family of five. The expansive property, lake views and fantastic deck were all amazing. We loved the kayaks and the quiet cove where our kids could swim off the dock. Would come back in a heartbeat

The location of the house had a beautiful view of the river. Since it was November, we did not swim or boat, however, the boat dock was a nice amenity with the kayaks. We had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed the outdoor space. We would have liked a bigger dining table with more chairs so that we could have all sat together and a second refrigerator would have been good as we had lots of Thanksgiving food. I would recommend the house for your family gatherings.

Very beautiful home! Accommodated our large family. The dock was a little further away than we expected I think golf cart would have helped. The only bedrooms that have TVs or the master suite. We had a great weekend.

Wonderful vacation
House and location on lake are outstanding. We spent every day in the water off the dock and even rented a pontoon boat that we brought over to the dock. House and rooms were extremely comfortable and spacious, and I cant say enough about the deck.

Great place! Awesome weekend!!
This is a awesome house! The family does a annual mountain trip and this was by far one of the nicest place we’ve stayed. Plenty of room for people Easy access to lake. Easy trip to Boone and Blowing Rock. If you forgot anything Wilkesboro is 2 minutes away with grocery store, Walmart etc. We are already planning our trip back. Thank you also to Carolina Cabin Rental nice folks.

Perfect home for our perfect family get away
Magnificent lodge home on a gorgeous lake lot with plenty of room to spread out! We spent a long weekend here and did not want to leave!! Our only issue was we requested a 1-2 hour early check in, because of flight arrivals, which they would not accommodate unless we paid an additional sizeable amount comparable for that time. The home was very clean, great decor and well appointed in kitchen essentials!! Sadly we were not able to access the dock and kayaks because of flooding in the area but it looked lovely from the balcony!! Malone Bay on Kerr Lake is a 5 star home and will definitely recommend this rental property to friends!!
