"Lovely cottage away from roads or other noise. Nicely open kitchen plus dining room and living areas. Midwest charming. We sat inside when it rained and watched the wildlife around the small lake and marsh. Everything we needed, and the bonus of a friendly outdoor cat who elaborately greeted us every day. We were happy to meet the owners who were very kind. Would definitely rent this or other nearby house (if we gather a much bigger group of relatives) again."

"We stayed in the cottage for Memorial Day weekend with a group of friends. The location was perfect since we were planning on boating, it was close to the marina where the boat was. There were plenty of bedrooms to accommodate our group of 8 adults, my only minor complaint would be that 2 of the bedrooms have small beds in them so it's not possible for couples to sleep together in them, especially if they are tall. Having two bathrooms was nice but one of them is an ensuite so it would have been...

"Stayed here for a girl’s weekend. It was a cute little house, but still had enough space for all of us. Could use a couple more basic amenities like paper towels and tissues. Just a quick walk to the beach. Overall a good stay!"

"Check-in went great. We had the standard 1 bedroom room. Rooms are a bit dated, but clean and comfotable enough for a family of 3. Our first night at 4:30am the fire alarm directly above our bed started to beep every 30 seconds, like a home one does when the battery is running low. A hotel should have regular maintenance on their fire systems so this does not happen. This beep woke us and our toddler up. I called the front desk immediately who said they'd put an urgent request in to maintenance....

"The best thing about this hotel was the staff. They really went above and beyond, and were so friendly. They treated us like family. The second best thing was the complimentary breakfast buffet. There were many hot and cold choices, and everything was delicious. The hotel is also only minutes from stores, restaurants, and downtown Lake Geneva."
