Staff was nice..rooms could use update...pealing paint..hallways need to be cleaned. Breakfast was good and it was quiet in our rooms. Asked for towels an d toilet tissue and it never came.

Keeping in mind that I'm reviewing a La Quinta and not a high-end five star hotel, I give full marks to La Quinta Williamsburg for being exactly what it is supposed to be: a reasonably priced, safe and clean hotel, with a friendly staff, a simple breakfast buffet, located very close to Historic Williamsburg ( 4-5 minute drive), and very convenient to both Jamestown and Yorktown, if you're doing the "Historic Triangle." The hotel is a 3 minute drive to a road lined with a variety of restaurants, and is next door to a 7-11 gas station. It was a very convenient location for us, and I'll happily stay here again if we visit the area in the future.
