“Great location right in town, and a very clean and well appointed apartment. Walking distance to everything and a perfect landing spot for us for Floyd Fest. The only note is that I would say the walls are a little thin in this charming, older building, so you can hear your neighbors a bit, but it was not a problem. Just manage yourself accordingly and be respectful of the neighbors. Will absolutely look forward to staying here again!”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The unit was beautiful, very clean, and thoughtfully furnished. We had everything we needed! It is in a great location and within walking distance of stores and restaurants. Highly recommended !(Just an FYI - parking is across the street and we did not see an elevator. Maybe we missed it? This was no problem for us, but might be an issue for those with mobility issues.)”

“This place was good, clean, and great location. Lots of stairs. Definitely don’t have much luggage since you’ll be lugging it up stairs and also bringing it from parking across the street. Check in isn’t until 4:00 which seems late. We wanted to get in at 3:40. We did but they weren’t happy about it and said if we tried that again it would cost an extra 25. That was a bit off putting. The place was ready at that point. The cleaning person had just finished.”

“The cute tiny house has everything we needed and provided a relaxing getaway atmosphere. Star gazing and watching the wildlife were highlights. The close proximity to Floyd makes it convenient to go into town. Highly recommend checking out Five-Mile Mountain Distillery for incredible moonshine cocktails. Cheers and relax!”

“Perfectly situated between the Blue Ridge Parkway and Floyd! The host is delightful and the property is a slice of heaven looking out over a quiet meadow! I had my coffee outside watching the barn swallows, biue jays, robins and cardinals mingle with the deer. It was serene! Then just a short drive into Floyd to take in the local flare. The Parkway is close and fun to take a relaxing drive doen yo Mabry mill. All in all a plus 5 on all accounts!”

“I liked that the property was right in town. Walkable to all shops and restaurants. Was very clean and modern looking. I stayed in the downstairs unit because I had my dog with me and that was the only unit I could choose. I felt like I was in the basement. Was very dark and musty smelling. They had a dehumidifier going but was very noisy and some other machine going in the washer dryer closet. Also no TV in the bedroom. I went to make coffee and opened the lid and a spring and piece fell off so……

“Very clean property conveniently located downtown. Very unique building and beautifully decorated. More like an apt than a room. If you are in the area it’s a great choice. Limited food options in town but great breakfast place around the corner of the building.”

“My senior citizen parents and I had a wonderful stay at Susana and Sean's lovely apartment in Floyd! The location was very convenient to downtown Floyd and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Their walk out basement apartment home is situated on a hill in a quiet neighborhood and as pictured. It is beautifully furnished and decorated, very comfortable. Any items you would need if you forget them were provided, such as chargers, umbrellas, flashlight, etc. We cooked most of our meals -- the kitchen is……

“The space was clean and tidy and the neighborhood was very quiet and safe. It made for a comfortable weekend stay as all of downtown was within walking distance. I had come for hiking so I was not around too much but the space had everything I needed, including parking in front of the home. If you are looking for something super high end this is not for you. It is comfortable, down-to-earth, and cute. You will have to climb a flight of stairs to get to the property and there is a large step……

“We stayed an entire week in the bankers loft while in the area for the USA Cycling Mountain Bike Nationals at Explore Park. The location was perfect for accessing the Blue Ridge Parkway. The loft was exactly as advertised, very clean and well-stocked. Host was helpful and responsive. Will definitely stay again if we are in the area.”
