If you are looking for shiny and new, then this is not the property for you. However, if you are looking for something that is comfortable, homey, and a little secluded, then I highly recommend Grand View Escape.

Girl Scout Glamping weekend!

Absolutely gorgeous house and property! Our girl scout troop and parents had an amazing time. Views for miles. The pool and gameroom were perfect and the kids never got bored. Plenty room to spread out. Would definitely stay here again. And did I mention how gorgeous the place was?

Birthday bash!

This house is a great location to get into Wimberly and pick up food and the house had all the amenities to cook the rest. The pool was enjoyed by all. In late evening enjoying the rocking chairs and sunset we saw a fox and rabbit. By pool in afternoon we spotted a road runner. In morning while enjoying coffee saw deer. The house had plenty of beds for the families. We had a great time.

Perfect for our family!

My family and I are super impressed with our stay at 106 Oak Terrace. The pictures did not do this place justice, you just have to see the beauty with your own eyes. We were a family of 20 and we were all comfortable with the beds and space. Our favorite area of the house was the porch with the rocking chairs. We sat out their every morning with our mugs of coffee and enjoyed the unobstructed views atop the hill. The kids enjoyed the game room and the outdoor pool. Their favorite game to play in the house was hide-and-seek. The kitchen was spacious and accommodated our dining needs. We cannot wait to reserve this place again!

Wonderful extended family weekend

We stayed here to celebrate my dad’s 80th birthday. So it was our parents and 4 adult siblings, each with our own spouses and children. Great house and amenities. Beautiful views. Enjoyed the front porch as well as the pool and hot tub. Nice spacious, well stocked kitchen and plenty of places to sit and eat and visit. Overall great stay! We loved it. My only comment to think about is that we had my 80 year old dad who walked with a cane and a nephew that is in a wheelchair. To make a little more handicap and wheelchair friendly some of the different step ups and step downs to get into and out of the house and to different rooms could use threshold ramps. Overall loved the property though! Thanks for sharing!

Multi family Getaway

We stayed at this property with a group of 4 families all with multiple young children. It was well setup to allow everyone to have ample space and have a great time. The views are great at the top of a hill and is close enough to Wimberley to make a short drive for alternative activities.
