Enjoyable stay, The property was just as we hoped for.

We just finished a three night stay in early June. The house was exactly as described and very clean. We were a small group of retired friends, and we enjoyed having three bedrooms with king size beds, and the beautiful open common space to drink, coffee and catch up with each other. I would stay here again!

We rent various places 1-2 times a year, and this home was our favorite. It had plenty of indoor/outdoor space for everyone to spread out. It was bright, clean, and located in a quiet neighborhood.

Great place for 6 girlfriends

Wonderful home with everything needed to stay 3 nights; would love to have had a long mirror- the property is beautiful and very peaceful. We get together 1-2 times annually and tend to be loud- the neighbors aren’t used to that, so we tried to keep noise levels down! Thanks for allowing us Baylor Alum to stay here!

Army Reunion

Very nice property and beautiful home. Myself and two other guys who i served with in Korea 51 years ago reunited in Texas where two other of our team lived. Had a great time. Cooked burgers on the gas grill on Sunday and had a few of the guys over. Loved the river and the deer!

Spacious, lovely home base to explore Texas Hill Country

La Casa Rio is a lovely home on a lovely property. Everything was clean and well appointed. Peaceful area to gaze upon or wade in the Blanco River, and enjoy the deer and nearby cows. Close to town so you can enjoy the restaurants and shops in Wimberley. A good home base for exploring the rest of the Hill Country, San Antonio and Austin.

Spring stay in Wimberley

Very good experience. The house and property are private and beautiful with good private access to the Blanco River. The house was clean and well stocked with basic supplies. Only five minute drive to Wimberley Square Would recommend to anyone looking for a large house with plenty of private bedrooms and bathrooms.

Nice country house in fantastic location

We enjoyed the house. Modern convenience in a farm house. The rooms and bathrooms were all nice. The kitchen and dining area was a great place for our group to congregate. We all enjoyed the wildlife, the river and the beautiful hill country scenery. Wimberly was a neat town that we explored as well.

Spacious peaceful Wimberley

La Casa Río is exactly as described, and was wonderful for our sisters' 4 day getaway. The bedrooms and common areas are spacious, uncluttered, and clean. The three king beds are all in large private rooms, and the twin daybeds are in a large open space perfect for kids. The property on the river is a short drive to Wimberley Square, but far enough away to make it feel like you're away from it all. The outdoor patios and table and chairs down by the river were great places to enjoy the view, deer, fireflies and conversation. One small recommendation: a full length mirror would be helpful.

Magical Stay

Around dusk we had a variety of deer visit and peek inside the door to see what we were doing. The fireflies lit up the entire yard with blinking sparkles. No negatives! We enjoyed everything about our stay! They even took care of the necessities in the bathrooms (so grateful because I forgot to pack shampoo!).It's a 5/10 minute drive into town, and a short walk right to the edge of the ri

Absolutely amazing!

What a beautiful house and property! House was fully stocked with everything we needed for 4 adults and 4 kids for 3 days. We absolutely loved the property and the house setup was perfect. I would recommend checking out Texas State’s University Camp if you have any affiliation to the university! The entrance is across the street and then a mile drive in to an awesome river experience! House was great location to Wimberley and San Marcos, and we enjoyed seeing all of the deer every morning!
