Great stay!

The house and property were great and we loved the easy river access. The only complaint is they advertise 3 king beds and twin room but one of the king rooms is actually a queen bed.

Wimberly Charm on the Blanco

Dream Location

Amazing property, great location. The house is immaculate, so much space for a larfge group, river frontage, right at the end of the road and close to town. Easy booking and check in as well. Be back for sure !

Hill country enjoyment

Wonderful views and comfortable house

We loved staying at this house. The house was comfortable and well equipped. The views and river access were terrific. And a quick 5 minutes to Wimberley Square. Would rent again.

Wonderful Property and Stay

This property was just as seen on the listing. It was beautiful and peaceful on the river. Very clean and a great layout for all adult guests with plenty of beds. Kitchen was well stocked and we hope to come back.

The Best

We loved this property and would rent it again. The kitchen rocked - it was roomy enough for several cooks and the best stocked of any VRBO house we’ve rented. My grandchildren loved having so much room to roam and loved playing in the river. None of us were ready to leave.

Gorgeous place!

We absolutely loved this property! The views & windows were amazing; we loved sitting outside in the mornings to drink coffee. The house was very spacious, we had 8 people staying & everyone agreed their bed was super comfortable. It was about a 5 minute drive to downtown which was super convenient. I'm already planning a trip back during the summer time to enjoy the river with kids.

What a lovely home

Several of us were in Wimberley for a wedding and loved our stay here. The house was very comfortable and the view of the cliffs from the living room was stunning. The river access was great. We spent a few hours sitting in the water and enjoying the sights. Despite being in the middle of summer, the breeze in the evening made it reasonable to sit outside, which was nice. Communication with the property management group was great. Would highly recommend this rental!

Outstanding location.

6 senior ladies enjoyed this beautiful location on the River. Very clean. Well equipped kitchen. Everything we needed. Beds were comfy and location very quiet. Would highly recommend!

Great house on the Blanco

This was our best vacation rental ever. The house was updated, beautiful and well equipped for visitors. The water was up on the Blanco so we enjoyed hours of river time. Lovely yard, front and back and large kitchen and entertainment area was perfect for our extended family of 11.

Beautiful house

This house is amazing and we had a great time. We had four families sharing it and there was plenty of room and were plenty of linens for everyone. The kids had a blast playing in the river and we cooked some delicious meals over the huge fire pit. We hope to make it a tradition and stay at this home regularly in the future!

Great place!

Perfect property for what we needed. Very clean and comfortable all around. Great spot on the river. Beds were very comfortable. Nice charcoal Weber grill and good outdoor seating provided. Hot water heater to bathrooms had initial smell issue from lack of use..but it worked itself out. Would recommend this property.

Summer family get away

Everything about this trip was perfect, the family loved everything about our stay. Which by the way made me look good for picking this vacation spot? The home was well maintained, roomy, and inviting, the river in the back yard was just right for our group. I can’t say one negative thing about this property, if it ever goes up for sale, I'll be the first in line to buy it. The owners have a real gem, thank you for letting us have it for a while. We really did enjoy it.

As advertised

We've been doing this annual guy strip for 11 years now. This place was amazing. Mostly private. River view was amazing and just beautiful clear water. Bedding was comfortable and the pool table a real bonus. I don't see this listing on VRBO anymore, so I hope they haven't removed the listing. We will stay here again if available.

RELAXATION

Imagine waking up to a dozen deer grazing in your front yard! All activities are within 15 minutes of this beautiful home. Perfect for the extended family of 8. Granddaughters loved the river right off the patio and Blue Hole and Jacobs Well just around the corner. Had a very relaxing weekend! Thanks

River Hiatus

We stayed at this fabulous home for a family birthday celebration. I think the first reaction we had was that the pictures didn't even begin to show how great this property is. The land itself is beautiful and the house is icing on the cake. It's nestled in a quiet neighborhood close to town but feels like it's very remote. The house is tastefully done and has a wonderful homey feel to it. It was nice to get a reprieve from the 100 degree heat and play pool inside. New pots and pans would be a nice addition as the current ones are pretty worn, but other than that it's a lovely place.

Retama is as good (and great) as they say!

We spent three super fine days at this excellent property. It was even more spacious and well kept than we anticipated. We loved the quiet. We had the river virtually to ourselves. We saw wildlife (deer, turkeys, and many birds (from a hummingbird to a heron). The kitchen and dining area were large enough to easily accommodate our group of eight. The bedrooms were fine; the master bedroom was particularly welcoming, with a nice sitting area. Our children really appreciated the pool table. We recommend one improvement: a place this nice could use a better, more functional grill. We highly recommend this place if your budget permits.
