"As a little motel close to a festival venue, the Black Bear Lodge was just what I was looking for. I was prepared for it to be small and basic and for the decor to be somewhat dated. What I found was a motel that was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The innkeeper was delightful. I would stay there again. "

"This place is amazing. Great location and perfect space for the whole family to chill out and chat! Make sure to call the owner before you get there so you have the code for the lock box. I didn’t do that but thankfully the tenant was home downstairs and was super helpful. Also, I would suggest asking to have the entertainment system turned on when you get there or for them to be there to show you. We could not get the large projector screen to work all weekend which kind of stunk for those that didn’t ski. Other than that - this place is perfect. "
"Perfect house for multi family ski trip to Windham. Large kitchen was great for big dinners. Kids had an absolute blast. Only thing is I think there are only 16 beds, not 17 - it’s a twin trundle bed not a full."
