Overall, a great location to stay in the CBD. I give the food a 2.5/5, but there are plenty of restaurants to choose from in the area. There is a self service washer and dryer, but there is only a single machine so I would suggest the hotel add at least 2 more. Two of the bartenders make great cocktails and the bar is a good location to meet locals, especially during game days.

The hotel was well-kept and the staff was very attentive. I enjoyed dinner in the restaurant and in-room dining was also flavorful. Breakfast had the basics and was satisfactory. The location is great! It was a close drive to the Maerua Mall and walking distance to the Independence Museum and the old Lutheran Church.

Hilton Garden Inn is nicer than the regular Hilton next door, maybe because it is brand new. The rooms are nice, the staff is friendly and helpful. There are other restaurants and shopping nearby, I highly recommend.
