Great value in residential Windhoek

Small, clean room with TV and nice bathroom. We stayed in a room with twin beds instead of a double. Had a mini fridge and cold drinking water. In a residential neighborhood of Windhoek, but easily accessible by car to the center. Wifi was fast enough to stream Netflix. Breakfast included in the morning was hot and filling, eggs, bacon and boerwoers. Coffee was an instant mix with hot water. Parking was behind a secure gate, but you must wait for staff to open it for you. Difficult to find in the dark, but there are lots of signs (entrance isn't on the corner, not the road of the address). Desk is staffed 24/7 but it's a family establishment, so we once had to wait 5 minutes because on-duty staff was taking a shower.

Nice stay & property as it appears on website. Slight hiccup at checkin which was sorted out & we got our 2 rooms as booked. Manager was kind enough to drive us around for a city tour on Sunday - 4 hrs for 400 NAD each person. Very interesting history & tour was good. Also he drove us to the airport for our early flight for a reasonable price.

アパートメントに宿泊しました。ダブルベッドの部屋とシングルベッド２個の部屋　ダイニングがありました。部屋はとてもきれいです。中心部からは少し離れています。キッチンはありますが調味料は何もありませんでした。　駐車場は狭くてやや駐車しにくかったです。

Ett lugnt och rent boende med servicevänlig person

Ett rent och väl fungerande guest house. Personalen var verkligen serviceminded. Vi bodde här 2 nätter som start på vår campingsemester i Namibia. Rummet vi hade var rent och snyggt och allt fungerade. Till frukosten erbjöd de tom vanligt bryggkaffe, vilket jag uppskattar när jag är långt hemifrån. Guesthouset ligger i en lugn del av Windhoek och bara 100 m därifrån finns ett hotell med restaurangskola. Där fick vi god mat till ett väldigt bra pris. Om man är rörelsehindrad/svårt att gå i trappor så är detta mindre lämpligt, då det är en ganska smal trappa upp till rummen. Det finns små möjligheter att parkera sin bil här också.

Zum Glück haben wir dort nur übernachtet.

Als wir um 14 Uhr ankamen, war nur noch ein Zimmer in der Dependance erhältlich, trotz früher Buchung. An der Rezeption versicherte man uns, dass das Zimmer Klimaanlage hat. Es war nur ein Ventilator, der schlecht funktionierte und sehr laut war. Wir sind um fünf Uhr morgens abgereist, man versprach uns eine Frühstückbox, doch das war nur ein Versprechen.

Simple but good value

In a good location but my guest room was down the street from the actual hotel and bit difficult to find. Parking inside the gate is tight and one can easily be blocked in. Simple room but had all the necessities. No heat (pretty normal for Namibia) so the nights/mornings were cold (visited in winter) but there are additional blankets. Good value for money, but not a fancy place by any stretch.

Guesthouse nuova, camere e sopratutto bagno minuscole, pulito, non molto lontano dal centro. Colazione discreta. Abbiamo avvisato che causa ritardo aereo saremmo arrivati verso le 22. Al nostro arrivo era tutto chiuso, suoniamo il campanello, proviamo a telefonare ma nessuno viene ad aprirci, dopo circa 15 minuti finalmente ci aprono.

The room was a bit small for two very tall people. We only had one bag but it might have been more cramped with more luggage.

Awesome place

I was very happy with my 3 nights stay at Tilla’s. The staff is friendly and helpful, the room has everything, including tea/coffee kettle, small fridge and working A/C; the internet speed is good, and the breakfasts are fine. The only 2 points, that cannot really be changed, are : 1) It is a bit of a walk from downtown and there are no restaurant or corner store market in the vicinity that I am aware of. 2) it can be a bit noisy at night, because of other customers. This said, I would not hesitate to go back.

Wochenende in Windhuk

War für Wochenende in Windhuk und habe Tillas Guesthous gebucht.Es war perfekte Entscheidung. Team ist super nett und hilfsbereit in jeder Hinsicht. Wer ohne Frühstück gebucht hat kann ohne Probleme für 50 N$ cca3.50 Euro Frühstücken.Also nochmal vielen dank an Team für meine Zeit in Windhuk
