This was an amazing hotel. The staff is awesome and the room was clean and quiet. Anytime we needed something they were able to help. I am thankful because it was a very hard week for us and this hotel made it a little better.

Amazing Hot Tub Suite
I surprised my girlfriend with the hot tub suite. It was amazing. The room was very clean, big TV, pleanty of towels, and the shower was wonderful. The only thing that sucked was the pool was closed due to some "chemical imbalance". I was really looking forward to go swimming. But overall the stay was awesome!!

Nicest place to stay in Windom
We have stayed in Windom several times over the past 20 yrs and the first time staying at AmericInn. It is the nicest motel in Windom, by far that we have ever stayed at.

This hotel isnt that old for all the issues.
We seemed to be bothering the staff at check in. Our first room's air conditioner made an extremely loud high pitched sound at no point during my call or trip down to the front desk was there any acknowledgement or apology for the inconvenience. It was like yep come get a new key here is you new key like it was a know issue and we shouldn't have turned on the air. Staff wasn't out right rude and did quickly get us a new room. The side doors and pool door dont work with room keys, staff said its a known issue and they prop doors to resolve.

They didn’t have a coffee pot in the room, call the front desk spoke to the person on duty there and they said somebody had taken it prior to me going there and there was no more in the hotel, so therefore there was no coffee pot in the room and I did not have any coffee

This is such a nice AmericInn, we really enjoyed everything about it, we loved the free breakfast and we used the pool and hot tub. Great place to stay.

Loud guests would come in aftter bar close and almost nothing wakes me up but either the doors weren't sealed well or the wall were thin but it was very loud and woke me up both nights. The 2nd night there was also a loud rattling coming from my window (room 310) which kept me up after being woken up by the other guests. The 2nd night I was hoping to relax in the hot tub which ended up being closed due to "maintenence". Great new builidng and clean but overall not the best experience and quality sleep was certainly not had here.

Julia, I am sorry to hear that you did not have a great stay with us. We apologize for the other guests, we do everything in our control to keep the building as quiet as possible. I am also sorry to hear that when you were here our hot tub was closed down. Unfortunately sometimes we do have to close the pool and hot tub to keep the bodies of water safe to swim in. We hope the next time you are in the area you give us another chance.

Due to staffing shortages housekeeping was done every 3 days for longer stays. This required asking for more bathsoap, clean towels and coffee for the in room coffeemaker. The facilities were clean and comfortable.
