“We had a fantastic night. The tiny home was amazing. Fresh home made bread and jams made for a beautiful breakfast. We were made to feel very welcome by the hosts and we loved seeing their beautiful farm and meeting two of their highland cows. The stars were incredible, such a clear night sky and stunning country views in the morning too. ”

“We stayed at Old Alloway for a long weekend as part of our first-ever book club retreat—and it was a complete success. The house is absolutely stunning, with plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. The views were nothing short of breathtaking, and the peaceful, secluded setting made it feel like a true escape. Yet, we were only 10 minutes from the heart of Bathurst, which made exploring the local area easy and enjoyable. We thoroughly loved our stay and couldn’t recommend Old Alloway……

“Comfortable clean snd good location ”

“The property grounds are lovely, both at the front entry and at the back patio. The beds were quite comfortable, including heating blankets to help fight the fall chill while we were in town. Also appreciated the eggs and milk waiting for us in the fridge.We were visiting Bathurst for my son’s ultimate frisbee tournament, so the onsite washer and dryer came in handy. We enjoyed the easy and beautiful river walk from the rental to Learmonth Park each day.”

“Far enough out of town and close enough to enjoy the sites and restaurants available. House was lovely and big enough to accommodate 8 of us for an enjoyable weekend”
