"The room was lovely, bed excellent and staff very welcoming. But the room was facing the main road and, even given ear plugs, we got to sleep at 01.30am. The room was very warm so we had to leave the window open, as there was no fan or air conditioning. If you want to stay you must have a rear facing bedroom. This is our second stay and we had the same problem last time. Once bitten, twice shy. "

"We were on 9th floor and had beautiful views of Basel area. Stylish, large room with plenty of space for large suitcases. Didn’t eat at hotel as restaurants in area are easy walking distance. Easy to get a tram that takes you up town and across the river to sightseeing points. Would definitely stay again."
