Areas of concern were: Unsafe steps, lack of needed lighting, unclean carpet, unclean mattress. In addition, the poor cell reception in the area made it difficult to find the property. On the positive, the coffee pods and the shampoo, conditioner and body wash were appreciated.

Great getaway

This cabin was very clean and inviting. The host provided so much more than we expected. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood filled with deer visitors. We will definitely be going back.

Our stay in Alta sierra

The upstairs room was really a lot of fun. The kids really enjoyed the air hockey game and the foose ball. Really liked the feature on the fire place that heated the room. It was a warm and cozy cabin. Loved the location and the best was that it snowed. So beautiful.

Great Cabin in the Mountains

We loved our stay at this cabin! It was quiet and peaceful. Our dogs loved it as well. The main bed was extremely comfortable and the rest of the house was very nice. We played games upstairs every night we were there (pool, air hockey and the board games they had). We'd love to come back again!

Perfect cabin for a family

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving getaway at this cabin. It exuded coziness, serenity, and relaxation. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the host's responsiveness and helpfulness made our stay even more enjoyable. Nestled in a quiet area, the cabin offered a perfect escape. The game room was a hit, and the well-equipped space catered perfectly to our family needs. A memorable retreat that made our holiday special.

The cabin was a disappointment. I have debated writing a negative review, but the future guests deserve honest feedback. I was so grossed out between the spiders (we killed at least three) and mousetraps in the kitchen upper and lower cupboards—right by the dishes. The place did not feel clean; there were cobwebs, the bathroom was pretty bad, again, spiders, and the bathtub was peeling The first morning I came out to make coffee, there were ants all over the counters.The promised air hockey table and pool table were not there. This played a large part in booking the cabin as we have 2 teen boys and one pre-teen, and that was a big disappointment. The large TV in the living room shown in the pictures was replaced with a small TV. We booked our stay for four days but I couldn't take it anymore and we left a day early. ***I do have pictures of where the pool table and air hockey are advertised, as well as the TV.

Lovely secluded cabin

We did not want to leave. This was a perfect place to stay. The host was beyond responsive too, and immediately got back to us with every question! We felt relaxed and at peace the entire time. One note: if you have heavier people in your party, the upstairs might not be easily accessible. The same goes for young children.

Fun away with a bunch of 5 teen boys 15-16

We got there at night which was a little tough but once we settled in the relaxation and happy began. It was so nice to hear nothing but laughter coming from my boys upstairs where all the games were. The short drive away there were amazing hikes and scenery. Thank you Megan We hope to make this an annual event.

House was well stocked. Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Hardly saw anybody! House had a rustic cabin feel so everything was on the older side, but it was neat and clean. We didn't want for anything in terms of provisions and comforts. Internet and service is not great, but that's not why you're going to these places.One thing to keep in mind is we went when it was hot and while there was an AC unit it had trouble keeping the house cool, especially since the attic couldn't be shut off. It could be uncomfortable at times, but not too bad.Neighborhood is not near many conveniences, which was fine with us, but keep that it mind. The town is accessible, but don't think you're easily running back and forth. There is a long windy road in between. We enjoyed accessing the trails in the area with our jeep though, so we weren't looking for something in town. It was perfect for us.Owners were very kind and communicative. This was a great affordable getaway. I would recommend and would stay here again.

Wonderful Stay!

I spent the week here with my sister's family (4 children) and my husband. It was a beautiful area with a nice neighborhood feel. We loved that there was a bar and grill we could walk to from the house! The house itself was well allocated. Upon entering, we were a bit concerned that the space would be very tight quarters for the week, however, we were very happy to find that the upstairs area was quite spacious and had a ton of activities to keep the children entertained (ages 10-15). We would definitely recommend staying here and also would suggest that everyone heed the information about the driveway. We had no issues with it but had it been snowing while we were there, it could have been challenging!

Abundant wildlife

This cabin is located in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed seeing the deer walk nearby in the early morning and evening. The host is very responsive.

Overall our experience was great the only concern was the ladder going up to second floor I recommend that it should be reinforced and list as ladder not stairs

Absolutely charming stay

This was our second time only renting a property instead of camper or hotel. I did research and prayed all is gonna be well. I definitely exceeded our expectstions 🌺 host was very responsive and communicative. Got all info and instructions as promised. Arrived to the property and instantly felt like ‘home’. Very cozy, smelled really nice. Everything was clean and there. Lots of entertainment for kids - we had 4 ages 8-13 who played pool, air hockey and many other classic games. TVs we’re there but didn’t turn them on. Deer visited us every evening and morning. We can’t wait to come back in the winter to enjoy snow wonderland. Thank you Megan 💕🌹
