Prachtige locatie voor magnifieke wandelingen. Het huisje heeft alles wat we nodig hebben maar niet voor de winter. Die verwarming met hout is echt niet gezond. het huis is een en al rook. Er komt rook uit in de living via die buizen. Die installatie moet nagekeken worden.

Wonderful! Higly recommended!
Wonderful cottage in beautiful Schwarzland run by fabulously hospitable owner (who lives a few villages away). The house is well equipped, very cosy and comfortable. Great showers, stove, beds, and family games. Good access to hiking trails (with some passing the house). Various shops and grocery stores nearby. A friendly restaurant serving local dishes at fair prices is a ten minute walk away. All in all: we’d defenititely stay here again next time we’d like to visit the beautiful Schwarzwald region. We are a Dutch couple with for children (11, 13, 18 & 19).

Rustic Hideaway
The house is set amongst trees at the end of a track, but not totally isolated. Wolfach for shopping is only minutes by car with good supermarkets, and various other services. Total privacy, very efficient wood heater. Small but well equipped kitchen, leading onto a private terrace overlooking the walking track and the river. A light train passes below during the day, but it is not intrusive. Christian was very friendly and helpfull, and spoke very good English. The area is most scenic, typical of the Black Forest. We would definately consider revisiting this house and would recommend it.

Lovely stay in this house on the edge of the woods
Lovely stay in this house on the edge of the woods. Perfect location for using the train for great walks and cycles or getting to Freiburg or Strasbourg. We hired bikes from Oberwolfach and cycled up the valley to Losburg which was a lovely ride. Thanks for the useful pile of leaflets.

Gemütlicher & einfacher Aufenthalt
Wir hatten einen schönen und entspannten Urlaub. Die Zeit dort und die Umgebung war sehr entschleunigend. Die Angaben zu der Hütte sind alle sehr passend beschrieben. Der Check-in-Vorgang und die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war ebenfalls total unkompliziert. Gerne wieder!

Guter Ort für wunderschöne Ausflüge

Enttäuschender Aufenthalt
Anfahrt gut, Übernahme gut, Vermieter freundlich. Innenräume sauber, Geschirr und Besteck sauber. Dann aber: - Parkplatz keine Augenweide, eine Unordnung sondergleichen. - Türe von der Küche zur Terrasse kann leider nur mit einem Keil geöffnet werden. Keine Griffe innen und aussen und Türrahmen verzogen (klemmt sehr stark). - Lärm auf der Terrrasse überaus laut durch die nahe Strasse (Eisenbahn stört praktisch nicht). - Kissen noch feucht von der Reinigung. - Fenster klemmen und lassen sich nur mit Mühe schliessen/öffnen. - Mäusekot im Gang bei der Türe zum Esszimmer. - Markante Feuchtigkeit im Innern des Hauses. - Treppe zum oberen Stock nicht ganz ungefährlich da kein Handlauf vorhanden ist. - Badezimmer sehr eng, Duschköpfe stark verkalkt. - Dach leider immer noch mit Plastik abgedeckt (das kann wohl nicht im Sinne eines heimeligen Schwarzwaldhauses sein) und ist sehr unangenehm bei starken Regenfälle, fehlende Dachrinne. - Im oberen Stock lautstarken Protest durch die Dachbewohner (Marder, Siebenschläfer oder was auch immer dort rumtummelt). - Die Gläsersammlung ist einzigartig, aber immer nur 1-2 Stk. pro Sorte! - Was liebevoll als Garten bezeichnet wird ist schlichtweg eine unbrauchbare Gestrüpplandschaft, garniert mit Rohren Schläuchen ohne Funktion. Wir waren doch sehr enttäuscht von diesem Haus und der Verwaltung. Wie kann so eine verwahrloste Liegenschaft nur für Euro 120.- pro Nacht vermietet werden. Aus diesen Gründen sind wir nach 4 Nächten nach Hause abgereist

Historisches Haus
Wir haben uns hier gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Wer altes und einfaches mag, ist in dem Haus richtig. Die Region ist schön und man kann einiges unternehmen. Wir kommen wieder und wandern weiter.
