The room was clean and spacious, bathroom was quite large, bed and pillows were comfortable. Location is decent 5-10mins drive to beach and restaurants. There is a bar and restaurant downstairs, did not try but looked decent. Only downside were the early 10am checkout (12 noon in other places), room windows don’t open, unstable wifi connection and lack of USB wall chargers available (remember to bring your own charger plugs). Would still return nonetheless.

Surprising hotel stay. This property was excellent for the price. Dining downstairs and very comfortable clean room. Close to city centre and train station opposite. Highly recommended.

The property was very good…. It would be nice if paying guests got the members prices at the bar and restaurant though…. rather than be asked if you’d like to join. We was only there for 2 nights…

We arrived really late (1 am) which we had advised the hotel earlier of scheduled arrival time and then called them on the way to reconfirm the arrival time. On arrival at front desk, the paperwork wasnt ready. Then we were given keys to a room that was already occupied by a woman and we could access the room as there is no lock inside (we used the key card and opened the door and shocked her). We then were offered a smaller room and contacted Hotels.com next day who organised a single day refund (for our two day booking - thanks Hotel.com). Today on checkout at 8 am, no one was at reception at Coniston and we gave a key to a person who was washing the rear entry where we exited to car park. All in all, unsure if we will return to the said premise but happy with Hotel.com service

Checkin was easy. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was soundproof. Bed comfy and Bathroom spacious and clean. Bakery opposite was great for breakfast. On outskirts of Wollongong which suited us well.

Great if you are looking for a place just outside of Wollongong to stay. Unfortunately during the first night there was no hot water, so we had to have cold showers and on the second night there was a 50th birthday party downstairs that kept us awake till 12am. I would probably not call this place 4 stars but definitely 3.5 stars and overall not bad value for money. The car park was safe, free to use and well lit. Requiring the key to access the hotel also helped make you feel safe.

Stayed here a few times. It’s really good and will stay again. Cold showers in the morning certainly woke both of us up. And that was at 6.45am so not sure what the problem was. However it’s will not detract me from using it again.

Air condition or some kind of machine noise outside window until about closing time approx 1 or 2am. That wasn’t good. Wonderful restaraunt and very good staff, we were served by a young lady who had been there 2days and she was excellent.
