「My daughter and I stayed at Carl’s place for a few days to see the eclipse. The chalet is absolutely lovely and we loved waking up each morning to the sunrise & the trees and the view of the lake…it was magical. 「First, we visited the cabin in February when there was a bunch of snow on ground with more falling. This was a trip with our puppy (his first trip). He loved playing in the snow and the property had a nice loop around the back that was easy to take him for a walk without having to go somewhere. 「We rented this for the extended President’s Day Weekend. The description was completely accurate and exceeded our expectations. This is a modern rental but gives you the comforts of home feel. 「House was not ready for check-in. Microwave was broken. Walk to house was not shoveled or salted (Luckily we had a shovel with us and I went out and bought my own bag of rock salt). 「We had a wonderful time staying in this adorable cabin on over 90 acres. We loved sitting by the fire at night, and our dogs loved having plenty of open space to run and play.
