“This was such a beautiful experience. The cottage felt so much like home. The balcony and view were amazing. The heated massage chair, cookies and wine on the table, were amazing and unexpected additions. The owner communicated well and clearly, even offering me an early check-in. I had an amazing spiritual, restorative, peaceful weekend here. THANK YOU!! Look forward to returning. ”

“It was a sad trip as we were dropping our daughter off for college. So it was a blessing to have this central location to be easy to check into to, keep clean, and feel safe. We were spooked out at the basement it that’s cause we do not have basements where we live. We let the horror stories about basements get the better of us. But that lasted like 60 minutes. Haha. I would rent this again. ”

“This place is a unique stay, that's for sure! If you are looking for an unforgettable experience, you should come. If you love trains, you should come. However, if you are not that fond of tight spaces or old-fashioned style and your traveling companions are looking for luxury and privacy, you might want to look elsewhere. The bathroom is a big tight (it's a caboose bathroom). But the location is really fun. And the owners are very accommodating! ”

“The house was adorable and VERY well stocked. The host was ultra responsive and easy to work with. The home is fairly centrally located so made getting around in all directions easy. The neighborhood was the only thing I dropped a star on. The neighbor's properties were VERY lived in and we were a little concerned at the beginning. But the neighbors were all nice and happy to help with whatever questions we had. We would recommend the home.”

“Sportsman's Pond and Blueberry Cottage provided the ideal location for disconnecting from the noise and busyness of every day life. The pond was beautifully serene, without outboard motors, jet skis, etc. The fall colors were gorgeous. The hosts provided every sort of watercraft one might want. I kayaked everyday exploring the shoreline and watching for birds. The cottage was well equipped, the bed was comfortable and an assortment of chairs and couches were available for lounging, viewing the……

“We had a wonderful time. The cottage was super clean and exactly as advertised. The view of the lake from the front slider was beautiful. The water was very clean and we went swimming and kayaking every day. The sandy beach made it very easy to get into the water. Our Golden Retriever, Sunny, loved swimming and chasing the minnows by the shore. We enjoyed the local restaurants and.the seafood at the Maine Attraction was great.. We wished we could have stayed longer and plan to come back again……

“Cottage is rustic and very comfortable, with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The waterfront is beautiful and so peaceful, and the view of Monadnock is incredible. Warm water to swim or float, great fishing from the dock, and the owners are super nice. We made some great memories, and would definitely return!”
