“The soundproof was not good at all. During late evening and early in the morning, the footsteps from upstairs were SO LOUD. We could not sleep well due to the noise. The squeaking sound was crazy, as the guests kept walking. Sound proof of walls on the same floor was ok, not silent, but totally acceptable. Apart from the noise, everything is fine. The location is good. Not too far from town centre. It has a big car park, so perfect for a rest in the middle of road trip. Cleaniness is also……

“Accommodation was great, clean and newly refurbished with spacious room and good shared kitchen/laundry facilities. Shortage of forks/mugs however in kitchen. Good location near university with lots of nearby buses and train to centre. Accommodation could do better with recycling though and communal lights left on 24 hrs etc. HOWEVER I extended my stay and was NOT given the new door code so was forced to wait for more than 2 hours outside until the ‘emergency’ phone number picked up. “Rooms are exceptional. Beautiful bed and bathroom. Little touches like items for breakfast and lovely toiletries make this a very special place. The owner Annika makes you feel very welcome. I will definitely stay again.”

“Hope Orchard is absolutely fabulous! The rooms are set right next to a lovely garden with apple and walnut trees which even has seats, tables and a lovely swing chair. The rooms are so modern, perfectly decorated and super clean. They are very well equipped and have everything you need for your stay including a fridge and a microwave. The host is super nice and friendly and we will definitely return when we are next up this way. Highly recommended!”
