The beach home was bright, cozy, and clean. It was a real treat to view the ocean and beach from the house. The beach access was a bit of a challenge however, we felt lucky to be so close. Fenced back yard was a great feature so we could let our dog play fetch. The kitchen was stocked with a great variety of cooking pans and tools. Beds were comfy with bathrooms conveniently close by. We were very impressed with this wonderful beach home.

Great Doggy stay. Nice view, too!

Nice property with handicap access and super dog friendly. Nice 3 minute walk to the beach on a quiet end street. No traffic sounds just the waves.

Yachats Vacation

Very pleased with location. Very close to beach and short hiking trail. Other great beaches and scenic locations only a short drive away. We really appreciated the fenced yard since we had a dog with us. This house completely met and exceeded our expectations.

Been coming to this house since 2013? Has changed owners a couple times, always a great stay. Started with my elderly parents , great to have handicap access. No my friends and I. Comfortable for anyone. Noticed the updates, love the new counter tops, backsplash, cabinet color, electric fireplace, fenced yard and the furniture rearrangement! (Refrigerator ?) Great changes.. I’m sure we will be back. Thank you

Great Getaway!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in various places on the OR coast, and this is one of the best! Location was great! Very close for beach access and access to the 804 trail was right off the beach. House was well-kept. Only thing to beware of is the backyard may not be totally secure for smaller dogs. There is a large gap under the back gate that we just blocked with the garbage and recycling cans. Very small dogs will be able to escape through the fencing as it is wire squares. Ours did not attempt. The main thing is they can go under the back porch and travel under the house and get out the front. One of our dogs DID do that. Luckily, we saw him out front and he has good recall, so avoided losing him, but it was scary to realize that and we paid close attention when they were out back from then on. This house is very well stocked with supples for entertainment too. MANY DVDs, games, a kite, beach chairs, etc. They, very thoughtfully, had a baby gate, pet bowls, feeding mats, pet bedding, and other pet supplies. They even had some toiletries for the traveler who gets there only to realize they had forgotten something, so they don't have to immediately run to the store. I highly recommend this beach rental...though this review may make it more difficult for us to visit in the future ☺️

It is in a great location (just steps to the beach) and has a nice view. The house itself was immaculate and very well thought out. The owners have done a fantastic job to ensure that their guests have everything they need while they are there, including a fully stocked kitchen. We stayed a week and cooked meals most days, and we had everything we needed for preparation and food storage for leftovers. We were also very pleasantly surprised that they had installed a fence around the back yard this year, so our fur baby could go outside without his leash and we didn't have to worry. This is one of the best vacation rentals we have ever stayed in, and will continue to come back.

Reviewer Comments: The location of this place was perfect, on the beach next to Starr Creek so we could stroll the sand for unlimited miles north or walk the 804 into town. My guest made good use of the ramp and we lounged on the deck at sunset watching pelicans and even caught a glimpse of a great whale. The house was fully equipped Yachats style and we almost finished two jigsaw puzzles. Another guest was worried about eating good food but the Drift Inn took good care of her while those of us who prefer fish found satisfaction at the Luna Sea fish house....special thanks to Captain Robert for the fish and a shout out to Lester who left his tavern to his heirs who created the Drift Inn from the tavern he once operated there. We'll be back.
