"Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean. (A couple maintenance issues but nothing bad) pool was nice. Breakfast was very basic and for those that don’t mind a lot of carbs. Overall it was good."

"I’m not a motel person but had a great experience. The best surprise was finding that even though I wasn’t able to book an ocean front room, the non-ocean front ones still have a beautiful view of the ocean! You can still see it from the window, you’re just not exactly in front of it. Also best, was the cleanliness— no ick factor at all. It was a very comfortable stay and traveling solo always felt safe. The general crowd/guests were pleasant, lots of couples of all ages and dogs. (I love dogs, so enjoyed seeing so many cuties). I met others who always book here when they visit Yachats so that says a lot. Trolley stop to the town center and Cape Perpetua also just next door at Overleaf. Very convenient. Enjoyed staying at Fireside!"
