"Excellent hotel in Yufuin! Location is mins walk away from Kinrin Lake so you can enjoy the excellent morning view. Hotel room is clean and comfortable, and the private onsens are really great for relaxing. Dinner and breakfast are really must try in my opinion. Staffs are all very friendly and helpful too."

"Lovely ryokan. We didn’t take the meals, and they were served in a dining area, not in the room. But the staff informed us of the early closing hours of locals restaurants and izakaya, and they booked tables for us at both, which was very helpful. They picked us up and dropped us off at the bus stop on arrival/departure. The room was spacious, very clean, with a large window looking out over the forest. I really loved their onsen which is on a balcony, looking at forest and the night sky, it was a mild temperature, not as hot as many onsens, but very nice. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Onsen hopping in Kurokawa Onsen was one of the trips highlights. "

"Beautiful, traditional Japanese style rooms provide an authentic experience. We enjoyed the breakfast. They did their best to accomodate my wife's gluten free diet needs. The family onsens were a nice option for privacy."
