"I love the traditional tatami rooms here. The ‘Bekkan’ is an annex and based in an older building that is charmingly done. It has its own baths, but you have access to the bigger and outdoor baths at the main building a block away. We hadn’t ticked the dinner box when reserving. Dining options in this town may be somewhat limited as most onsen inns serve meals inside. The restaurants fill up. We ordered the dinner when we arrived. "This was my first experience at at ryokan, and the inn is one I would gladly visit again. Great staff, comfortable beddings, fantastic exteriors, and amazing spa facilities (both public and private). It's a bit of a walk from the main town, though."
