“The rooms were clean. Beds & pillows were very uncomfortable. Need new ones. Pool needed a clean. Had very noisy neighbours which echoed in areas . No air-conditioning in bedrooms.”

“Family trip. We wish we could stay there longer to enjoy the silent ambient and also the facilities. We have a big room and it is very convenience to parking our car directly at the front door of our "house". We encountered a snake at the pool and the staff there attended it and helped monitor it to ensure we feel safe. ”

“We had a wonderful stay here. We loved the beautiful view from our balcony of the Clarence River and pelicans. We enjoyed fresh fish, prawns and chips from the Fisheries Co-op next door. The staff were so friendly. Our room was spacious and clean. We walked to the Sunset and Wine Bar for exactly that, beautiful and a 10 walk from accom. Coles supermarket a 12 minute walk or 2 minute drive away. Turners Beach, Whiting Beach and city centre all 5 minute drive. We had such a relaxing stay and plan……

“Great location right above the beach and only minutes walk to shops, cafes and restaurants. Room very clean, free amenities great, bed very comfortable.”

“We only stayed 1 night at Hotel McClean while traveling home. The room was spacious, clean the bed comfortable. It was quiet the Sunday we stayed but outside our room there was a worksite which may have been in use during the week … However, it was quiet at night. It was a very short walk to the dining room for a great Chinese meal.”
