"Very scenic, peaceful, and quiet. Only had one night there but the meal we had in the afternoon from the lunch menu was very good and we wish we could’ve stayed longer to try some of the delicious looking items on the dinner menu."

"The bathroom had small hair all over it and there were black beans scattered on the carpet. I think the blankets were clean but were stained. It smelled like weed and cigarettes on our floor"

"This hotel is utilized by folks as extended stay so some of the folks staying there are living there full time. The rooms are suites with full size refrigerators and kitchens. The bed was only a full - thought we'd be getting a king. The pillows provided were lumpy messes. The towels were thin and rough. The place charges extra for housekeeping or for additional towels. No complimentary breakfast or coffee. No Ice machines. However, the staff who was working the night we were there was very nice and helpful. My partner had sprained his ankle, and she provided us with extra towels without charging and another pillow so he could prop it up. She offered her own ice pack when I mentioned going out to get ice (as there are no ice machines in the hotel). I did not take her up on it, but it was very kind of her to offer. Overall the hotel left much to be desired, but the staff was good. Hotels are expensive in Grand Rapids, so for one night it was fine, but I probably wouldn't stay here again."

"Room was decent, bed comfy, tv was a little glitchy at times but overall, for the price, it was an okay stay. A 2 star hotel is not a 5 star hotel. Adjust your expectations and you can stay for a reasonable price, it will meet your needs. Housekeeping was excellent. Pool looked nice but we didn't have time to use it. "

"The only positive part of the stay was the front desk attendant. She was pleasant and the process was smooth. The property was appalling. Old dirty water under and around the shampoo bottle. A previous guests sock was just lying on the floor. The room had a foul old dirty smell. The pool area had a large puddle of standing rusty water. The pool was cold murky water with some weird brown and black unknown floating things in it. There were more issues but I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. "
