Paradise Cove Resort

Paradise Cove Resort

10/10 Excellent
"We had the incredible good fortune to be posted on the Piper Rose catamaran run by this hotel. Initially, we were completely surprised to find ourselves on the boat, as we booked last minute and Expedia did not make it clear. we were booking a room on a catamaran rather than at the resort (which they should probably clarify but the resort’s web page does make this more clear). But it was a positive surprise of a lifetime. The catamaran is a new business for this resort, with 4 cabins -, in our case, we rented one of them and we shared about with another family. The boat is absolutely exquisite, gorgeous, and luxurious spaces to eat, rest, and enjoy the sailing. Everything was impeccably, clean, and well run. But the great surprise of all was the staff - from the captain to those who took care of the tiniest details, we were treated with such care and great company that extended far beyond ordinary hospitality. The only downside was that we had to leave…. So fortunate are those that get to experience this luxury and hospitality!"

"As soon as we stepped onto the boat we were greeted with a big smile from the wonderful Manager of Naqalia Lodge. Everyone there made us feel so welcome and treated us like family. There were two rules at Naqalia Lodge: 1. Eat as much as you can and 2. Wake up every day with a happy face. Pretty easy considering the outlook from our bungalow, the variety of delicious food and the beautiful, happy people who run Naqalia Lodge. The accomodation is basic so don’t come here if you are precious. Cold showers only. Our bed was huge and clean and comfortable. Whilst on their land, you are family. The reef is teeming with fish and colourful coral so snorkelling is a delight. There is a compulsory meal plan which was great value ( especially if you eat lots as you can go back and fill your plate until the food is gone!) Each day there is a different selection of delicious food, served buffet style. There is tea and coffee available all day and a cake or yummy treat left over from the morning meal which is available until it’s all eaten. You can drink their tank water ( we did with no problem). We had a fabulous time at Naqalia Lodge. We left with lots of happy memories, warm hearts ( and bigger bellies !!) and we will definitely be back again."

"I absolutely loved this unique island. I especially loved the sound of the waves at night; it was the best island experience for someone living in the city like me. Waking up in the morning to the sunrise was breathtaking. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, and the food was plentiful and varied. I'd definitely come back and stay three nights next time."

"We went with open minds after reading mixed reviews. The staff were great and so accommodating. The food was amazing. The facilities are basic but we expected that. The trip to coral garden was epic. Unfortunately we didn't see any manta ray but maybe next time. Oh and there was water in the swimming pool. We had a great time and incredible snorkeling experiences"
