Buffalo Camp 1 is the perfect camping cabin for getting outdoors while enjoying amenities. Take a break from a tent. Enjoy a rustic weekend close to nature.
INSIDE:
1 Queen Bed (sleeps 2)
Kitchenette with ample counter space, fridge, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. No running water inside the cabin.

Electricity, A/C, heat, rural wi-fi (up to 50 mbps), linens, pillows, paper plates, bowls.
BONUS: ladder access loft area sleeps additional 1 adult or 2 kids on a full size foam mattress - bring your sleeping bag and pillow!
** Your running water is available from your private Bathhouse Bathroom **
Your Camp 1 Bathroom is located in our Camp Bathhouse - about 20 yards from your front porch. You and your party will have use of a full bath that includes shower, toilet, and large sink. You will not share the bathroom with anyone else during your stay (no stalls, multiple toilets, etc).
OUTSIDE:
Covered front porch (6' x 16') spanning the length of the cabin where you can relax and listen to nature at your 2 person dinette or sitting area.

Firepit and picnic table are just off the steps.
COMMUNITY AMENTIES:
Laundry facilities are available from mid March to Thanksgiving - you will have keyed entry to a laundry room with washer and dryer (no coins needed!)
Large Lawn and swings available to all guests.
You will have a view of our ridge looking towards the Buffalo National River forestland. You will also see the historic Lynch waterslide just outside your porch landing!

The Ridge is located in the heart of the Buffalo Point recreational area of the Buffalo National River.
3 miles to Buffalo Point beach area - at the end of our road!
4 miles to the Indian Rockhouse Trailhead (it's a must-do on your trip)

IN THE AREA:
Kenda Drive-In in Harriet
Fishermen can enjoy the Buffalo, creeks or visit Cotter on the White River.
Yellville is about 20 minutes north (closest grocery store).
Marshall - another float put-in spot - is also about 20 minutes south
You're within an hour and a half of so many hikes including some of our favorites in Arkansas like the Centerpoint Trail to Hemmed-in-Hollow or Big Bluff.
Parking is ample and free at the cabin
Some important things to take note of...
Your bathroom (shower, sink, toilet) is located in our renovated Bath House about 20 yards from your cabin door. This is a cool piece of Buffalo Point history - it was the old Lynch waterslide bathhouse, where locals got into their swimsuits to ride the slide. We've redone the bathrooms for our guests.
We are in a rural area focused on simple living and getting into nature. You will have internet, it's just not super fast. We find we can stream movies.


We hope you enjoy your time in the area and are able to disconnect from your regular routine and reconnect to the outdoors and to the outdoors. The Ozarks and the Buffalo National River are very special! We will give you privacy, but will provide an emergency contact should you need it. Welcome!
