“River crest is a lovely comfortable well equipped cottage with everything we needed for our weeks stay. It was clean and has a good shower. The bed was cosy and comfortable. The best thing is the view across looe and out to sea. Looe is a very nice place to stay with good shops and pubs. It is handy for a number of national trust properties. Lanhydrock and Antony are worth visiting. Polperro Fowey and Seaton are nearby and worth a visit. There are steps down to the cottage which need care but we……

“Linda and her family were very welcoming & helped with any questions we had on the property or farm. The cottage was very well equipped, and nothing that we needed to take bar food & drinks. We would stay here again and had a lovely time! ”

“Beautiful location. Modern interior with usb plug sockets and everything needed to hand. Jonathan is a great communicator and is a local so can respond quickly if needed. ”

“We had such a wonderful stay at this lovely little cottage and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better location. Tucked away in a quiet spot but right in the heart of town, everything we needed was just a short stroll away – the beach within a minute, the harbour for crabbing, and plenty of shops, pubs, and restaurants to enjoy. A lovely relaxing retreat. The dogs loved it too with a lovely secure garden for them and us to enjoy. Johnathan was very helpful when we had a few initial issues which were rapidly resolved.Would love to stay again. ”

“dirty utensils,cups,eating bowls, freezer leaking water and mildew growing inside. dirty sheet with dirt on and stains. both bed had springs coming through, one bed had a large dip in the middle, damp place, radiator controls had been taken off so it could not be adjusted. car parking was dangerous not wide enough to get in and out bust road, even though we asked hostes if the parking was wide enough for our car, they said it was. the stairs did not have a banister to go safely up and down……
