It was all around wonderful, the staff were kind and helpful, the rooms were big, clean, and extremely nice, they would do room service every day, and on top of all that the hotel was so affordable. "They will not let you into your room until 3pm. Unlike many hotels if you arrive and your room is ready they will let you in. Instead of saying you can sit in the lounge to wait we had to ask if there was somewhere to sit. Could be a bit more hospitable. It is nice to feel the check in people actually care about your comfort - we did not feel they cared. Room clean but a bit cramped. Beds comfortable and nice linen. Cleaners do a great job. Convenient location opposite Kyoto Station and bus stop. Easy access to Gion and other attractions. Breakfast had plenty of choice both Asian and Western. Windows do not open in room. "

"Wonderful hotel! Beds are so comfy. Although room is a little small, it’s a little big already for Japan standards. We had the standard double room, and the beds are twin XL beds, a bit tight for 2 ppl to sleep in, but they did make the sofa bed wonderfully for my daughter so we were all comfy. Love how they have free drinks, and free locker service. It’s close to the station like 2 blocks which is not too bad. Breakfast was good. Amenities were good. Staff is excellent! I can definitely recommend! "
