Dormy Inn Matsuyama Natural Hot Spring

"We loved all of the amenities of this hotel. There is a room with two massage chairs for guests to use, of course the onsen which was lovely. They offer free ice cream or popsicles in the afternoon. The rooms are small but very clean and comfortable. Good location. An easy walk to the castles and restaurants."

"Close enough to bus & train station approx 1km. Quiet at night. Good sound proofing tho some sound still got in during the day, to me, this doesn’t matter Very comfortable bed Not much of interest in the immediate vicinity In the Hotel Information screen on the tv in the Nearby Restaurants category there only 2 options - a 7-11 or a supermarket. This could bother some. OK by me though. Surely there are some proper eating places but I didn’t see any?"

"Conveniently located close to Matsuyama Station, we were happy to stay one night at this hotel. Even though it may be old, it was very clean and the beds were the softest we experienced in Japan, which was good for our backs. The staff were so kind and placed our bags into our room before we checked in, so we did not have to lug them all the way there. One thing to be mindful of is that there was no working A/C in our room."

"The Funaya is amazing! The staff were very helpful, they welcome you outside if hotel door take you to checking lobby, everyone we encountered were all great. The lobby is beautiful , the room is huge and super clean, the big onsen , the breakfast, we are happy with everything in the hotel! Oh, the location is excellent, 3 minutes to Dogo onsen station and the shopping street, 5 minutes to the legendary Onsen , can’t be better!"
