Clean. Spacious. Warm. Sturdy. The woods surrounding the property contained tons of decaying logs. The highway (41) leading to the property and surrounding the property were also depressing: miles of burnt forest and decaying wood. We felt like we were driving into a scene from the movie, "Deliverance". Indoors, everything was intact. Comfy beds, good fridge and stove. But... no A/C. We knew this, but it being in a Mountain area, we believed it wouldn't be hot. It was in the 100's. To enjoy our vacation, we stayed indoors until it became hot. Then, we closed windows and shutters to keep the heat out. We went to the river to cool down. Around 6 pm, we returned, and turned on the fan. Around 8 or 9 pm, it began to cool down, and we opened the windows. After that, it became cooler. I don't have a problem with this, except we paid $450.00 per nite for this accommodation. We could have flown to Hawaii and stayed in an air conditioned condo. No, I won't rent from these people again, I won't recommend it to anyone, and I won't recommend YNP because the forest is seriously compromised. Not the Yosemite I knew and enjoyed years ago. Yosemite is in decline!
