Perfect location and comfy apartment

The apartment is the perfect place to stay in Ypres. It has everything you need. Beds are comfy, kitchen well equipped and is very nicely decorated. The location is right on the doorstep of Ypres centre. Ypres itself is beautiful with so much to do, we loved it.

Terrible check in, too much stuff

Check in was not smooth at all. I was expected to reach out to the host. No welcome email from them. I had to meet the host in person to get my key for the unit. Most properties these days have a lock box or passcode system. Would not be such a big deal however I had to work around the hosts schedule. I wanted to meet at 18:00. They told me I would need to meet between 16:00 and 17:00 so I had to interrupt the activity I was doing. There was also no communication that the only way to pay was cash so I then had to walk with the host to the bank to get the right amount of cash. Unit is nice and good location but there is too much stuff. I can appreciate a well equipped kitchen but I was almost knocking coffee cups out just trying to get a plate out. Cabinets over full. Towels also smelt of cigarette smoke when wet. I realize many people smoke but for a non smoker this is not an enjoyable experience.

We were greeted warmly. Apartment is very clean and so very close to everything in Ypres - less than a 5 minute walk to the city centre. Apartment is very spacious with lots of room to spread out and relax after our busy days! Would highly recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to stay in Ypres.

Small, very comfortable apartment very close to the centre of Ypres. Many historical sites nearby. Last Post ceremony at the Menin Gate very moving.

Could not have been more happy with our stay at apartment Ypres. A lovely apartment just around the corner from the town square. The apartment has everything you need for a short or longer stay. Well set up for self catering with a large supermarket 5 minutes away.

Apartments Ypres - Superb!

Excellent stay at Apartments Ypres. Katie was very helpful and the apartment was exceptional. We'd have been mad to stay at a hotel! Ypres was very friendly, full of things to see and do, great restaurants. The Last Post at the Menin Gate each evening is a "must see" and for us, as Scots from the Highlands, it was even more special as the Ypres buglers were joined by a piper and drummer and some soldiers from a local Scottish Highlands Regiment. Their padre said a prayer, which was pretty moving to be honest! All in all a great visit and we would happily return. Thankyou very much Katie.

Very central, great host

These apartments are very central, less that a minute's walk from the Grote Markt and Menin Gate. They are well maintained, clean and comfortably furnished with a small kitchen, crockery and utensils, bathroom, towels, etc. My ground floor apartment had a small outdoor seating area. Your host is very friendly and helpful, and had many recommendations for things to see and do in Ypres - a few things I would have missed out on were it not for her advice. Recommended if you're staying in the city for a few days or a longer visit.

Super Central Apartment

This small 2 bed unit had it's own kitchenette, bathroom, courtyard & everything you could possibly need for a very comfortable short stay.Centrally located in the beautiful town centre of Ypres, it is a stones throw from the town square and easy walk to the Menin Gate. The owner's are incredibly accommodating & provided a lift from the train station which made our stay warm & welcoming & stress free .

Had such an amazing time, we were in great hands. We were greeted by Katie who showed us the features and space. Then gave us the lowdown on the area, places to eat and visit. Would come back here in a heartbeat. Absolutely loved the place. Cannot wait to come back, would highly recommend this place.
