"It was such a beautiful and clean hotel. Fantastic amenities and an iconic pool. But the thing that made it one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at was the staff and service. They were amazing. So kind, welcoming and helpful. We would stay at Shangri-La Far Eastern in Taipei again. "

"What a great find. Right next to Taipei Main Station (exit M3) and perfect if you’re coming to or from the airport. Really welcoming and a great room with excellent amenities including air con, a dehumidifier and fridge. I had a huge jacuzzi bath and Japanese style toilet seat ;-) The breakfast buffet is superb with a huge choice of western and local foods. If I hadn’t already booked another non-refundable hotel for when I head back to Taipei, I’d stay here again. Thank you!"

"Value for money. Walking from blue mrt and in heart of town area. Breakfast was very nice. Level 2 lounge is complimentary for the hotel guests- light snacks and tea/coffee after breakfast hours are over. Room is very comfortable and nice.helping and cordial staff. Overall great stay. "
