“Great property with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Very close to both Nevada City & Grass Valley. We came for the Christmas festivities and were not disappointed. Great little hiking trail at the back of the property and backyard was fully fenced & very dog friendly.the host, Robert, was very responsive and answered all our questions in a short time. Would highly recommend a stay here if you are looking for a quiet retreat.”

“Things we loved: Wonderful hosts, very friendly and communicative! Cast iron pans and multiple coffee making methods available for use were a plus! Cool bath/shower. Music players were a fun addition (the old school radio was a hit a with our 9 y/o). Stargazing was stellar! “We spent the Thanksgiving weekend at this property. This was our first experience in an off-the-grid property.Though the property is a bit in the woods and off the grid, it was comfortable for five of us to spend four nights. It was warm and well-maintained. The kitchen was convenient for making a Thanksgiving meal. There are trails nearby for some hiking or trail running. I wouldn't mind staying at this property again. The hosts were very responsive to our questions. Though access takes driving……

“This home was exactly what I was envisioning when I thought about a cabin. Beautiful log cabin with a wonderful kitchen including all necessary amenities. The rooms were cozy all the way to the lower floor media room which my nephew called his own little apartment. Very private along with an amazing trail for us to w alk with our little dogs. Casi was responsive and very easy to deal with. We would absolutely choose this hone again!”
