As soon as I booked this property I received a welcoming email and very clear instructions about location and check in! When we arrived, we were greeted warmly. We were lucky to have the luxury of an early check in! The room was clean, comfortable and had some extras like a fridge, a pot for heating water for tea, and coffee. A large complementary bottle of water was also in the fridge. The location was excellent. The room is on the third floor so there are stairs but, for us, that is not an issue. We had a lovely, comfortable stay here!

The apartment was beautiful and located in the middle of old Zadar. So many great restaurants and shopping in this area. 10 minute walk to the sea organ. There is lots of boat cruises to different islands, bike rentals also and much more. I would definitely recommend this rental to family and friends. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Mareta apartments we will be back

Apartment was really nice and clean. We did experience an issue with the Air Conditioning working which the property manager tried to help with but we weren't able to get it to work. Great position in the old town.

Sarah was exceptionally professional and knowledgeable about the area. She had a very quick response time to any questions. The place was remodeled beautifully. The walking tour was fantastic. We really enjoyed Zadar!

We loved our apartment in Old Town. Marin & Mario were very easy to communicate with through hotels.com app and whatsapp for check-in, food recomendations, & anything we might need. The apartment was gorgeous, larger than expected, with excellent air-conditioning & incredible lighting. The moss wall is back-lit, under the bed lights up, behind the mirrors, etc. Such good lighting! There was tea, coffee, a large bottle of water in the mini fridge, slippers, TV. Everything you could want, plus a map of Zadar. Location was excellent, many food choices nearby & great ice cream! The moss wall by the bathtub was so beautiful!

Fabulous, modern, well equipped apartment in an amazing location. Little touches like toiletries in the bathroom and an abundance of towels add to the feeling of being well looked after. We also used the airport transfer service which was fantastic. I can’t recommend highly enough. When we return to Zadar we will definitely stay here again. Thank you

Check in a bit of a pain if you want a smooth check in. Had a WhatsApp message then told to message another number when we arrived at a point who would then show us to the apartment, we waited around 10 mins. Apartment was lovely inside, 3rd floor but no lift. No reception so self service. Unfortunately no hot water for us at all in the morning which put a huge dampener on the stay. Location is good however.

Awesome location and great apartment
This apartment is at the best location. Right in the center of the old town. The room is small. But it is not a problem as solo traveler. No elevator. Fine with me because I like go upstairs. The room has everyting: safe box, shower is strong, a lot of towels, towel warmer. The host replies whatsapp fast. The apartment is beautiful. I stayed here 4 days and really enjoy it.

Great modern apartment which is well equipped. It is right in the centre of the old town so never more than a 10 minute walk to any of the sights or the ferries / boat trips. Its next to a large supermarket which was really handy. Ideal apartment for a couple.

Very nice property that is centrally located in the city. Plenty of restaurants, shopping and sightseeing within minutes. Had no problem checking in, the owners son met me right away (they do ask for a message 30 mins prior to arrival, and he was there to meet me right when I arrived) Would highly recommend staying at this property to anyone looking to visit Zadar!

The property has great design, AC, and though it has no elevator it is very centric...perfect location. I have to mention that I ha a problem late at night with the neighbors (also renting from the same owners) and the owners took care of the problem that same night. I am very gratefull for their understandng and I would have expected an answer the net morning...and no...they did it all that same night. Great hosts.

The apartment we had was in a great location in between the cathedral and main square. It was not quite big enough for our family of four (2 adults plus 2 teenage girls) and there were a few quite a few stairs. Helpful host, who was happy accommodate our late arrival and gave good local recommendations.

Nice property with all functional elements covered. Staff very helpful with early check-in. Apartment is smaller than it seems in pictures and up 4 flights of stairs so not for people with physical difficulties. Location is great, very central!

Beautiful apartment in the old center of Zadar
The apartment is very well maintained. The owner's son met us to show the place. It is a beautiful apartment, complete with amenities, even kitchen stuff. We were amazed that they provided olive oil and other condiments for guests who like to cook. Kitchen is complete with cookware, ceramic ware, etc. It also has a coffee machine.

When we booked this room we made a mistake and gave the wrong date. Because we had prepaid that t was lost money. However when we talked to the owner he said he would honor our reservation. Even without them doing that it was a great value. Parking is a bit of a problem but it is that way with almost in lodging in that area.

Zadar was a very nice place made better by the excellent accomodation at Mareta Apts. This remodelled apt. Is just fantastic and very well located. If you are visiting Zadar you will not find a better place to stay.

Very nice room in a perfect location! Most comfortable bed of our entire European trip! The only other thing I would note is that the bathroom lacks privacy as it is a glass door.

Great location. Newly renovated
Very centrally located. Beware apartments do not have an elevator or lift and are on the 3rd floor of the building. Also there is no front desk. You have to call the number given and schedule a time for someone to meet you at the front gate. The staff was very helpful.

This was a really nice, modern room. It was small, but had a great use of space. The location was very central and we loved the area. The check in was smooth, and our host provided lots of useful info with regards to where to park and what to see and do in town. There were a lot of stairs so be wary if you have accessibility issues.

I was very happy with the room. It is situated at the center of Zadar town - a 7 min walk from the sea organ. there plenty of restaurants and shops just outside the entrance. The room is modern and styled quite well. I was also happy with the bathroom and shower. the room is quiet and private. A word of caution - there is no elevator, so if you have heavy / lots of bags, you are situated in the third floor.

Wasn't sure what to expect as we hadn't stayed in an apartment in Croatia previously, such was our experience, we decided to rent an apartment in 2 others places in Croatia. Apartment was new/stylish /clean /trendy/chic. Location was fantastic and owner was very nice/helpful.

Unit is a one-room, "air bnb"-type from an owner not living in the premises. It is located in old town, in a side street crossing a very busy commercial pedestrian street of mom&pop stores. It was very difficult to locate. It is situated far from any metered public parking. You are asked to haul your luggage about one-third of a mile. Then, to haul your luggage up 5 stories (at times in a narrow stairwell), without any elevator. The building where it is located is barely clean with trash lying by the stairwell in the ground floor. You must then "hunt" through a myriad of such rooms to be able to locate it. How is this rated a 4 to 4.5-star baffles me! We had reserved and paid for one night, and had informed the owner by email the day before as to the approximate time when we will be there. After the above, the owner was absent without even a note at the door indicating if and when he/she will be back. After one hour wait, we decided to leave and seek other accommodations having lost half-day of our precious vacation time in addition to the consequent aggravation and disappointment. We called Expedia to complain about the situation and to get a refund. Expedia contacted the owner who apologized about the situation he/she caused. We received the following day from the owner an email indicating the room was available, we should call him on his mobile, and he would be there within the hour!!! We intend to pursue this matter until we get a full refund.

Room was very clean and super spacious. Well-located just off the Forum in the middle of Old Town. Only slight difficulty checking in because there isn't a front desk - you have to coordinate a meeting time/place with the manager. In my case, that was a bit difficult because I made a last minute booking. But it worked out great. Just plan ahead a bit more than I did!

Everything was very good with apartment very clean and nice but 4th floor and no elevator this was my worst experience overall, I do have disc by going up and down I really hurt my back so I had to cancel the 3 extra days that I reserved and I think hotels.com should have mentioned that this apartment is in 4th floor and no elevator please next time mentioned all this on line so people can see befor they make any reservations

The top floor of the hotel is located on the third floor ( there is no forth floor ). Some rooms are located on the lower floors , some on upper floors. The room you booked has a large window with view,it is normal if you book a room with view that room is located on upper floor. Thanks.Marin
