  • Large, beautiful apartment house "Richemont", 4 storeys, renovated in 2014. In the district of Winkelmatten 1.2 km from the centre of Zermatt, in a quiet, sunny position. In the house: lift, storage room for skis, central heating system. Grocery, supermarket 1 km, restaurant 300 m, bakery 600 m, 25 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Wiestiboden" 60 m, railway station "Bahnhof Zermatt" 1.2 km. Mountain railway 800 m, ski rental 800 m, ski bus stop 60 m, ski school 1 km, children's ski school 1 km. Cabs cannot stop right in front of the house. Please note: the keys‘ handover takes place by the agency Interhome in Zermatt. Additional accommodations can be booked.
    2-room apartment 65 m2, on the ground floor. Very simple furnishings: living/sleeping room with 1 double sofabed (160 cm, length 200 cm), dining table and TV. Exit to the terrace. 1 double bedroom with 1 double bed (2 x 90 cm, length 210 cm). Kitchen (3 hot plates, oven, toaster, kettle, microwave, freezer, electric coffee machine, fondue Set (cheese)). Bath/bidet/WC. Terrace 15 m2 partly roofed, south-west facing position. Terrace furniture. Very beautiful view of Matterhorn. Facilities: hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smokers only.

Apartment was very far from the town. Uphill climb was exhausting with kids. Amenities were ok , no soap or shampoo. We had to remove linens when we left, which was an odd requirement. Only positive was the view of matterhorn from the window.

Wohnung Richemont

Die Lage des Hause mit Blick auf Matterhorn ist ideal, das Quartier sehr ruhig das Haus eher ringhörig. Bei der Wohnung gibt es nichts zu beschönigen ich habe meine Unmut auch schon im ihrem Büro in Zermatt hinterlegt. Die Wohnung war voller Spinnweben und auch sonst nicht gerade sauber. Das Bad war in Ordnung und gut geputzt. Die Ausstattung zum Teil so alt und Dreckig das man sie nicht benützen will, sehr schade inklusive Küche. Kompliment aber an ihr Büro in Zermatt, alle sehr Freundlich.

Apartament obszerny. Na parterze. Narciarnia w piwnicy. Szkoda, że bez ogrzewania butów. Fantastyczny widok na Matterhorn. Kuchnia dobrze wyposażona we wszystko co potrzeba. Przygotowanie posiłków bezproblemowe. Łazienka też w porządku. Do przystanku skibusa 100m. Do poprawy: za mało wieszaków aby można było wysuszyć odzież narciarską. Musieliśmy wykorzystywać drzwi aby wieszać kurtki i spodnie. Przydałyby się ze dwie suszarki, takie do prania. Szafy ubraniowe do poprawy. Zużyte.

Günstige Fewo, völlig ausreichend

Die Fewo ist einfach gehalten, sauber und groß genug. Der Kleiderschrank im Schlafzimmer war schon alt und nicht abzuschließen. Der Backofen/Herd ist ebenfalls schon alt, aber funktionstüchtig. Man hat einen perfekten Blick auf das Matterhorn. Sie hat alles, was man braucht. Für den Preis absolut in Ordnung. Die Abwicklung bei Interhome war einwandfrei.

Nádherný pobyt

Na Richemontu jsme byli podruhé a v Zermattu po osmé a určitě se zase vrátíme. Jediné co bych vytkla jsou postele, bylo by fajn je vyměnit. Jinak jsme byli opravdu spokojení. S Interhome celkově jezdíme deset let a vždy je vše v naprostém pořádku. Děkujeme :)

Schön gelegene Ferienwohnung mit atemberaubendem Blick aufs Matterhorn. Leider waren die Möbel in teils sehr schlechtem Zustand. Auch hätte die Wohnung sauberer sein können.

Spacious, attractive apartment

I enjoyed staying here and would, potentially, use it again if revisiting Zermatt. It is in the Winkelmatten area and has a lovely view of the Matterhorn and local hills from the main windows which face west. Its equipment is slightly basic and could do with a bit of upgrading: a medium-sized saucepan, a bulb in the standard lamp and additional bowls and plates would be useful especially if 4 people staying. Ideally, Interhome would accompany client to property on arrival.

Sauberes und ordentliches Apartment mit der notwendigen Ausstattung. Das Badezimmer ist dunkel und ungenügend beleuchtet. Herrliche Aussicht und ruhiges Quartier. Bushaltestelle direkt am Wegrand.

The apartment was in good condition and the location is of course superb. BUT! Being a Scandinavian you are almost dependant on Wifi-access where as 99% of all travel related booking (flights, trains, ski-pass, restaurants) in addition to checking job-mails and general news updates. The lack of Wifi-access reduced the attractiveness of this accommodation greatly – but I would love to book it again once this ‘detail’ is sorted.
