Zhongshan Hotel with Pool

"It has a good location and connects to MTR via the department store. It's a bit far (1 km), but there are many things along the way. The hotel is as luxurious as expected. I once stayed in Langham, London, and this Shenzhen hotel has that same vibe. The room is spacious, and the staff was attentive and responded to all requests quickly and correctly, even though they were not perfect in English. Overall, I will stay here again if I come to Shenzhen."

"wonderful hotel staff at JW Marriott and we absolutely enjoyed our stay. i left a note at time of booking saying that it is our honeymoon. although we only stayed for a night, hotel staff made it special for us by decorating the room and sending a cake to us. room was good size and clean, a little dim though. i believe it is conveniently located, getting deliveries was very easy as well. special thanks to Sue Su who was extremely kind and gave me a heatpack when we checked in."

"This was our 3rd trip to this hotel, but our first since China had reopened to American visitors. Two of the three restaurants have closed and not reopened. The outside bar and vip area was closed. The outside pool was closed. The wait staff spoke poor or no English and the menu was severely limited. At Maro more than half the food was unavailable and their drink menu was almost non existent. The staff spoke little English. The front desk staff was kind and rooms were nice. I hated to see this property go down hill so badly. Now we will have to find somewhere else to stay at our next visit. :("
